because why would a group of beach-goers
just suddenly gather around some regular "Shlub" hitting a tether-ball around ?
he had to have been someone famous for them to wanna do that..

check out the "cameo" of what looks to be a professional boxer in thE film
BATTLING BUTLER ( released August 1926 ).
at about 1:O7.13 of the film.
I aint sying it's Harry Greb, but I get the feeling seen them somewhere else before.

seroiusly, that person does look really familiar.
I think I've seen his photogaph in a History of Boxing book somewhere,
if it isn't Harry Greb, could it be Johnny Dundee ?

There's not that much to do.

Crowds of thousands will emerge from their boarding houses and charge down the beach if word goes out that a dog is fighting a crab.

John L. Sullivan, Tommy Burns,Jack Johnson Jack Dempsey, Primo Carnera ,Max Baer, Joe Louis ,Rocky Marciano, Floyd Patterson
have all been to England at one time or another.
would you know if they had ever went to Blackpool ?

Gene Tunney would have never lost their first fight in 1922, if Greb hadn't butted open
the gash Tunney had gotten in training.
