I don't know if it will do big numbers, Mickey corrected me in another thread that this fight will sell tickets really well, but I'm not that convinced.
And in answer to your question: another Connor vs Mayweather? :maybe:

I will stream it definetly , , there is no way in the world would i pay for it and allow Benn to recieve 5 cents of my money , however streaming and watching him get flattenned for free appeals to me , although i think Mickey is probably right , lots will buy they will get sucked into the whole Benn --eUBANK GRUDGE THING and be willing to part with money , also think it will do well with ticket sales ,An awful lot go for the event not the fights

Other than influencer boxing, is there a sanctioned fight with a bigger disparity between how interested the casuals are and how interested the hardcore fans are? Fury vs Ngannou is the only other recent one that comes to mind.

One to be seen at and post on instagram , a rotten main event and a poor undercard. I hope it does bomb but not sure it will

Don't think its what he says , its the way he says it , that sounds weird , he actually knows the game backwards , inside out , and is not always wrong , definetly right about Jones , Chris did regress under him , Jones great fighter but has a trainer he wants people to do what he did when they have not got the attributes he had , , in his prime of course

He hadn't much defence before RJJ, he was just a high volume offensive fighter. Of course you can't maintain that physically for very long and I think it was some niggles that caused him to try a more considered approach. And while it wasn't a total makeover, he has gained from it I think

Why is Chris Eubank talking to and about his son as if he's never met him?

Has Chris Eubank never heard of a telephone?

CHRIS EUBANK JR VS. CONOR BENN: ‘FATAL FURY: CITY OF THE WOLVES' - PRESS CONFERENCES THIS WEEK!

Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn will come head-to-head this week when they meet for TWO separate news conferences to promote Ring Magazine’s first-ever boxing card titled ‘FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves’, in association with Matchroom and Boxxer.

The fight, which takes place on April 26 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London will be part of a special collaboration with SNK Games, creators of the FATAL FURY gaming series.

Eubank Jr and Benn's clash will come 35 years after their fathers Chris Sr and Nigel, two legends of British boxing, fought two gruelling middleweight and super-middleweight title battles in the 1990s.

The first of this week's two press conference events will take place TOMORROW - Tuesday, February 25 at Manchester Central in Manchester. The event will be open to the public, with 500 fans welcome on a first come, first served basis. To attend, simply join the queue.

The second event will take place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on Thursday, February 2025.

Both pressers will be streamed live by Ring Magazine, DAZN, Matchroom and Boxxer on all social channels from 6pm GMT/1pm ET.

Fans who pre-order ‘FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves’ will get priority access to tickets for Eubank Jr-Benn. The game, available on PlayStation, Xbox and PC, is scheduled for an April 24 release, with those who pre-order benefitting from early access on April 21.

As well as Eubank Jr and Benn's 160-pound duel, there's a cracking undercard to boot.

Light-heavyweight rivals Anthony Yarde and Lyndon Arthur will complete in a trilogy fight, following their 2020 and 2021 clashes in which they traded victories.

Former world champion Liam Smith returns to action against unbeaten rising star Aaron McKenna, while ex-WBO cruiserweight champion Chris Billam-Smith takes on American hard-hitter Brandon Glanton.

In another cruiserweight fight, undefeated Viddal Riley will do battle with Cheavon Clarke, who will seek to bounce back from his first career defeat in December.

I've never watched Conor Benn fight. Is Eubank better than him? Because if not that's a PPV between 2 guys that are like...what? Top 15 barely in a weak division?

That is a shockingly bad card for a PPV, not one title on the line or anything of any note except some manufactured grudge to sell tickets

Question is what will Eubabk have left at 160 lbs

I always favour the man coming up in weight to the man coming down. Remember Pacman v De La Hoya?

If he just thought fcuk it I’m gonna weigh in at 165 and forfeit whatever tiny fraction of my purse the fine will be, what could Benn do ?

He’s not gonna pull out of the only big fight he’ll ever be involved in and go back to fighting Mexican roadsweepers tucked away on the undercard of nondescript US cards is he
