Incredibly, Bugner had beaten Mike Boswell via decision in Houston, Texas just one week earlier, then he's back in the UK taking on the useful Middleton, who had won 15 in a row. Unsurprisingly, Joe dropped a decision and was floored in the last round. Crazy management to have a guy fight 7 days later on a different continent and expect him to perform.

He did, these are first fights of Brown's I've seen, ran Starling close as you say and stopped Blocker, was well beat against McGirt though, the only previous Brown of seen was the Pettway KO
