I'm normally not for stripping a guy of his belt, but since his World Title is a joke belt that was fought for by 2 victims of the real World Champion in the first place. I don't take his claim of being a Champion the least bit serious, and this fight is only about who is Usyk's potential next opponent.
They won’t strip him.

Not like it was a mandatory either. shame all this is happening during fight week.

With all the cash the Saudi's throw around they should stick this now on free to air

Dubois is right to pull out if he's ill. I have had a couple of awful bugs in that part of the world - usually after eating salad.

He shouldn't be stripped.

Bakole is a top replacement. Good fight.

I'm pleased he's getting the opportunity. Overlooked name in the mainstream media.

Shit happens and all that but I’m gutted. Dubois v Parker was a genuinely intriguing fight.

With the main event we pretty much know what we’re going to get, a close high quality chess match. The card needed Dubois v Parker.

Just can’t see Bakole doing a lot here.

Paddy Power have opened with 1.53 for Parker and 2.5 for Martin. Closest odds I can remember seeing for a late replacement, but I can’t remember what Bam was at Vs Cuadras?

Great late replacement. Joe still gets his payday and more than likely a win and Martin gets that big shot no one seemed to want to give him.

Strange set of affairs but if you think you've seen it all boxing....think again !!

Obviously Parker is first up in the firing line and might be cagey enough to outwit Bakole, but if he doesn't then surely Dubois must meet Bakole next....and I'm not sure Martin figured in DDD's plans

I know they won't strip him, but they should.

To me the winner of the Parker-Bakole fight outranks him.

Very very valid question. And one that we will only know the answer for anytime soon if it is leaked.

Not sure when he flew out, but if it were me I wouldn't get on a plane a few days before .
Get there 3-4 weeks previous and you've got a very good chance of getting over anything you catch on a flight .
If it is the flight he's caught something on that is .

Why would they not announce it now if it was the case ?

They would've. The lad is ill, simple as that. Others have got the same illness by all accounts.

Threaten them with legal proceedings. Happened with Whyte, Benn, Fury just as examples where we only found out way later.

Not sure about the Benn one , wasn't that was announced during the week of the fight ?.

It was secretly leaked to the media at least a month after the failed test
