Adames pretty dismissive of Sheeraz. Doesn’t seem to respect him.

Ugly scorecards, to not exclude Sheeraz out of title contention
Re: Carlos Adames vs. Hamzah Sheeraz | PPV - 22 February 2025
Abysmal decision, embarrassing.

With that performance..
He was never gonna beat Jani either.
He had a chance to win a world title and then fight Jani in a unification.

I had it 115-113 Adames.
Re: Carlos Adames vs. Hamzah Sheeraz | PPV - 22 February 2025
Hamzah froze a bit but he'll be better from the experience.
I'd still probably favour him in a rematch but I'm not sure if they should go straight back in. Put him in with a teak tough opponent who's going to make him try to work out different ways to win late on. Not sure who there is in the division though.
Or will Sheeraz be better at 168, a much much tougher division?

Anyone seen the footage of Turki telling Hamzah he’s down by 2 rounds?
Was this just him looking at scorecards between rounds cus he’s the boss? Or Cus of WBC open scoring?

Yes I think that was the lowest hanging belt in a pretty sad MW division at the moment.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑22 Feb 2025, 17:46 With that performance..

No devil in Sheeraz at all in that fight.
Very disappointed. What's the point being that big and fighting like that?

Maybe he was referring to Mannix's scorecards, which are essentially public?Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑23 Feb 2025, 02:47 Anyone seen the footage of Turki telling Hamzah he’s down by 2 rounds?

Turki definitely takes sides, and Adames was clearly robbed of his win. But his preferred fighters have lost multiple times now, so I don’t agree with those saying the robbery was planned.
Let’s not pretend the U.S. is known for fair judging either.

It's not the first time he's shown he has favorites.
I'd prefer him to be more impartial, but I don't think it changes the results.

Not good. His dim corner man was telling him he was ahead, which explains why he was suddenly yelling knock him out!! You are losing!! - in the last round,
And he was yelling it repeatedly & loudly, obviously because he wanted “His Excellency” ( as his dutiful subject Adam Smith kept calling him ) to hear he was obeying orders

Never been sold on Sheeraz.
No doubt he can come again as he has great backing and is a Turki favourite.
That score shouting from Turki isn't a good luck.

Two dodgy decision in a pretty short career. Clearly lost last night and should have been thrown out v Skeete. Over-rated weight bully
