What happened?
They both had fightweek pull-outs. One took a comparatively much much harder replacement than the other.
Oh. I don't really see how that makes Shakur look bad. Hardly his fault.
We have no idea who he could’ve picked as a late replacement opponent. But he’s clearly picked a soft touch. The difference in weigh-in is obviously massive

Bakole is a great replacement but Bakole doesn’t have to make weight.

Not sure how many top tier lightweights would have been sat around ready to make weight on two days notice.

Have they said Stevenson turned anyone down?
Yeah, you’re right. That’s more or less what I just said to Taansend

This is a bad match considering the circumstances..

I mean heavyweights can bang, so it’s not like they have to make weight.

Welsh strongman Gavin Bilton walked Parker into the ring, nice little side hustle for him

Bakole went as fast as he came, gave too much of his figure to Parker and fell like a sack of potatoes

To be fair the forum had this 60-40…. And the bookies had it 65-35… and both knew bakolie was short notice and out of shape.

Also it felt like Parker was very vulnerable and getting a bit touched to the body in round 2…

Can’t let hindsight take over and just claim bakole is trash… Parker scrambled his equilibrium, there’s some luck in that. Regardless of shape, this is still a top notch win.

Perhaps Shalom should have saved him for down the line, as a promoter I doubt he earned anything.

Perhaps Shalom was just happy to be there

In retrospect, perhaps Bakole isn't as good as Billy Nelson says he is

Bottom line: It's a great win for Parker. It's a bad loss for Bakole. I don't think it's a career ender, but it definitely takes a lot of the luster off of Bakole's shine, and he'll need to put together a 3 or 4 fight winning streak to get back. Can he do it with the way Turki matches guys? We shall see.

In fairness to Billy, he created most of the hype.

Parker looked suspiciously jacked. Bakole looked fat. Great win for Parker though. It should be Parked vs Usyk next.

Bakole vs Zhang would be a great fight for them both. Zhang to probably retire if he loses, Bakole to drop down a level if he loses.

Promoters generally get a cut if on a away show if they have a official deal.

I think Bakole will go down the Andy Ruiz route and never be truly fit again .

Might pull off some lower level wins but I think done anywhere near the top .

Are those the same FLY gloves Wardley wore to KO Frazer Clarke?
