Question: How are the rankings affected following the results this weekend?

We're voting on Parker, Kabayel, Zhang, Bakole and if anyone wants to vote on Sanchez, who beat a nobody via stoppage, you can do.

Make it easy for me in the end, make you're votes like this:

Parker to #3
Kabayel to #4
Zhang to #9
Bakole stays #8

Thank you.

I'm struggling a little bit.

Parker only did what he was supposed to and that was to beat who was in front of him.. Now it wasn't the original opponent, and Bakole shouldn't have stepped in really.. But he did and he's also top 10 ranked here.

Dubois dropping out isn't Parker's fault.. So i'm thinking to move him up regardless.

Bakole on the other hand, I don't want to move him down, but at the same time, no one forced him to take the fight.

I'm inclined to move him down.. Let's see what you guys think.

I'm still deciding on Sanchez..

Kabayel will move up regardless

Parker to #2
Kabayel to #3
Zhang to #5
Bakole remains UNCHANGED despite his terrible showing.
Sanchez OUT due to not having a relevant win for 3.5 years.
Fury OUT due to retirement.

My current rankings:
1. Usyk
2. Parker
3. Kabayel
4. Dubois
5. Zhang
6. Chisora
7. Ajagba
8. Joshua
9. Bakole
10. Vianello
11. Wardley
12. Joyce
13. Hrgovic
14. Hunter
15. L Pero

12-15 is definitely up for grabs if the likes of Torrez, Okolie, Whyte, Huni, Itauma etc can get a reasonable win. 5-10 is probably the weakest it's been for a while.

Zhang to #10
Bakole to #9

Fury is way too high, he lost his past two fights, and before that deserved to lose against Ngannou but was gifted by the judges. Perhaps Fury should be taken off completely because he says he's retired.

I like things as they are, apart from Kayabel up one and Bakole down one.
I'll give Bakole the benefit of the doubt for now, but it is quite obvious he isn't leading the life necessary to advance up the rankings and I expect Ajagba to make fairly easy work of him if they meet in a couple of months.

Parker to 2
Kab to 3
Bakole 10 (so slotted just below chisora who will move up 2 spots from bacoli and Zhang going bellow him…)
Zhang 11

That’s my voting bit locked in… but I think there are some relics in here that really need a shuffle.

-Fury is retired… but even if he wasn’t he should be bellow DDD (fury’s resume has aged like milk…) and he dosent have a real win in 2 and a bit years…(unless you wanna credit him for justttt beating a debuton)

-hrg just got stopped and dosent have a decnt in 2.5 years… and that’s disputed in itself..

-frank just got stopped and dosent have a decent win in 3 and a bit years.

-Joyce’s last good win was 3 years ago...

-the division feels saved but the reality is just a few guys careers have been saved and they are solid too 5s now, but it’s left the rest in tatters for now..

Yep. Fury is retired and can be re-added if he chooses to fight again.

Sanchez's last relevant win came when Usyk only had 3 fights at heavyweight. He shouldn't be allowed to rank squat and hopefully people vote him out.

Joyce and Hrgovic are clinging onto their rank because nobody else outside the top 15 has been facing each other. They'll drop the moment someone gets a relevant win.

Yup, remove based on retirement.
Unfortunately too many on here have a soft spot for Fury. And that soft landing spot is #2.

I suppose for now we can just say Dubois pulled a sickie and Kabayel and Parker stayed active, so putting them above can be justified. But Fury at #2 messes with the rankings a bit

Really I feel Dubois/Kabayel/Parker are interchangeable as #2, but given they need ranking and Fury is parked up at #2:

2. Kabayel
3. Parker

4. Fury
5. Dubois

7. Zhang
10. Bakole

Dubois
has allegedly pulled a sickie to make way for the Usyk fight so happy for him to effectively be moved down.
Parker beat a last minute replacement who was in no condition to fight.
Not Parker's fault but I'm rewarding Kabayel who has put in a string of impressive performances back to back.
In the reverse I don't want to punish Bakole too much, but at the same time he grabbed the cash (and from what I heard this stopped others like Okolie getting the fight)
Zhang can take Kabayel's old spot after his first stoppage loss.

Fury #5
AJ #6
Bakole #7
Zhang #8

9-14 can stay the same
15 can stay vacant until the Torrez v Vianello fight

Kabayel #3
Zhang #7
Bakole #10

Sanchez & Joyce out.

Let's hope Joe or Agit gonna fight Usyk next and Dubois fights the other guy.
Than the winner can fight Usyk as his last opponent.
Best case scenario.

I've made a decision to bump out Fury after these votes. He'll be auto-removed. So no need vote him out.

Unless we vote out Sanchez, there will be 2 vacant spots.

We can wait for Whyte-Joyce, Okolie-Riakporhe and Torres-Vianello to vote people in

I am on board with bumping Sanchez and fury out.

Triple vacancy is intense but will be filled by okole winner and torrez jr winner in 6 weeks or so.

Kabayel to #5

No other changes.

Disagree with removing Fury, he has a history of talking nonsense around retirements, actions speak louder than words and he fought very recently.

This is why I was hesitant at first.

It’s only been 2 months since he ‘Retired’

Boxers usually fights once every 6-9 months anyway these days

Turki still hoping for Fury-AJ.

How about for every 2 months of "retirement" he drops a ranking position.
If he gets to a year without a fight announcement just remove him at that point.

All four of the IBF, WBC, WBA and WBO have dropped Fury following his retirement. If he chooses the become active again then he can come back in.

To add to this, his only win in the last 3 years is 0-2 Ngannou. How much does he even deserve a high ranking?

On the other hand, both Ring and TBRB still rank Fury.
