I was checking the career record of the hall of fame boxer and top ranking contender Jimmy Bivins.
I know that you can't fight everybody. But this guy seems to me that nobody in his era escaped from fighting him.
Is there a top contender of his era that he didn't tackle?
He was a very rough fighter. Just by seeing that he fought greats like Archie Moore and Ezzard Charles plenty of times tell you about his quality.

Though he was at the tail end of his career , I would have liked to see him take on Marciano around 1950!!elmersalsa wrote: ↑25 Feb 2025, 10:42 I was checking the career record of the hall of fame boxer and top ranking contender Jimmy Bivins.

Rocky Marciano came too late for the party I think. Washington Rocky top 10 at heavyweight in 1950?evrenb wrote: ↑25 Feb 2025, 14:28Though he was at the tail end of his career , I would have liked to see him take on Marciano around 1950!!elmersalsa wrote: ↑25 Feb 2025, 10:42 I was checking the career record of the hall of fame boxer and top ranking contender Jimmy Bivins.
