Matias v Valenzuela
What a brutal fight. Awful cut. Should have been stopped way earlier

Agreed brutal fight, your right that fight should've been stopped in the 4th when the doc was first called over, gaping gash which bled into the eye, doc called over again a couple rounds later and still gave the okay for it to carry on, it was a cracking fight, Valenzuela was in it tbf, landed his fair share in a tear up but Matias had the bit of class an his shots carried more power and accuracy, he was doing damage to Valenzuela who kept punching through sheer grit and heart, some grrat exchanges but round 8 Matias finally got to him dropping him with clean head shots and a sneaky body shot, accumulation making Valenzuela wilt, he made the count but ref rightly waved it off

The Mexican was a tough dude. The corner have to take their share of the blame.
He was landing a lot but not really making a dent. He was allowed to take too much.

matias style is so brutal. methodical continued painful beatings over rounds. he has made so many opponents quit or have the plug pulled by the corner. funny thing is a lot of his shots look like pitter pat arm punches, but are obviously very heavy
