Sky’s a better platform anyway.
Surely no one complains that Turks isn't showing women's fights? Nobody of sane mind at least

I'm really looking forward to the main event, although couldn't give a toss about the rest of the show.

Wonder is Joe will be working Jonas' corner.

I know he still made the trip and worked Alakel's fight.

It has crossed my mind, how it has impacted on Jonas' preperation.

If Price wins, which is expected, it will be a boring running fight. Jonas feet might just be too slow to keep up. I can't really get any interest in the fight going when that is the likely outcome.

There’s a hilarious clip out there where the two are being interviewed together and Jonas says she beat Lauren Orice as an amateur and Price says we’ve never boxed and turns out Jonas was missing her up with Becky Price.

Nah Jonas has been badly knocked out early before, reckon Price will do it to her again :box:

That Turkish woman looks bloody dangerous at lightweight as well. Won by KO on the weekend over the Irish amateur star. I can imagine that fight being amazingly dodged by Caroline Dubois as well.

Hearn said she kept asking him to give her a chance.. Now he's hyping her.

Well, she may be in line to fight Dubois

Any female boxer with that many knockouts deserves credit. Given that Irish girl was getting a lot of hype and she wiped her out in 1. Definitely worth keeping an eye on.

I looked up tickets the other day, didn't see a full seating plan but looked like every price range had availability so guessing it's sold poorly. I'm sure both Jonas & Price could have shifted a lot of tickets in their home towns, but doubt they have many supporters willing to travel to London for a show.

This isn't a normal situation. You get the impression it's a for TV event, ticks boxes, great venue, etc. I doubt there's any pressure on the boxers to sell tickets and I'd guess a lot will be given away. Who is going to go otherwise? Lesbians? They're not even Londoners and London is a hard sell anyway unless you're Johnny Bosh.

Untapped market with those Turkish girls, had a real good crop in the ams at all levels over the last couple of years but the lack of infrastructure for the pro game over there has been a barrier. Surprised that the Turkish elements in German boxing haven't snapped them all up, they'd run riot given the proper training and backing imo.

Of course it is! I was watching it the other day in the youth hostel with Chris Eubank.

Just seen Raven Chapman is 3.75 to win against Kariss Artinsall. I haven’t been impressed with Artinsall and Chapman is strong even if she can be outboxed by the best (such as Nicholson.)

Reckon there’s value there.
