Mancini was no Duran. The Scot on points.

Exactly. Plus, Ken Buchanan was very tough. In 69 bouts, Buchanan was never really knocked out. The only KO loss in his record was the foul on the groin by Roberto Duran.

Buchanan on points.

A really good matchup if both at their prime. Buchanan was a much better pure boxer and Mancini would keep coming forward. I would guess Buchanan by UD but it wouldn’t be an easy fight

Either Boom Mancini take a decision after pressuring the slick boxing Scot or Buchanan would outbox Mancini behind his long jabs and combinations on the outside in vice versa to take a decision which was the most likely outcome.

This would have a very competitive fight. Good pick from the OP. :TU:
Two very good fighters with contrasting styles.

Nice matchup for sure. I like Ken to win by a comfortable margin though. Cuts Ray with the jab. Ken was a terrific boxer and could crack a bit too. Ray would be super aggressive no doubt but his head movement or lack thereof , would have him hit by too many combos. Late stoppage for Ken.

I'd have to pick Buchanan.

Either UD or late rounds Tko(Stoppage due to a bad cut).

Buchanan would be too elusive. He was very Tough and Strong as well.

5'8-1/2 vs 5'4-1/2 for the Height comparison.

Bad style for Mancini to deal with.
