A very tough fight for King Carlos. Michael Nunn speed could be a problem. At 6'2", he would be an inch taller than Monzon. He would also had a slight reach advantage. And he was a southpaw. Nunn was a great boxer in his prime.

But, something tells me that his chin would betray him in this fight with King Carlos.

Monzon by knockout in 13.

Monzón wears Nunn down and KOs him in 11 with a right hand down the pike. Nunn gives him a hard time with his speed in the first half of the fight before Monzon takes over

I was thinking the same thing.

I've usually seen Monzon listed at 6' even. As in 6'0.

Tale of the tape often shows variances for Boxers though.

Ones true height is measured while standing with you're chin slightly past mid-level. And simultaneously with you're back fully tightened up, as in ram-rod straightened. Boot camp style mode.
I stood like that during a physical, while getting my height measured, and the nurse told me to relax. As in, just let yourself stand in a Slumpy'ish sort of way, and so I did, and I was measured at only 5'9, even though I was really actually at least 5'10 at the time.

Yeah, I think that Boxers often just stand up in a relaxed position while they're getting they're height measured.
That typically deducts/reduces from ones true measured height, by various amounts. An inch for one person, and even more than that from another. The taller you are the more in inches the height is reduced when standing relaxed as opposed to a more militaristic standing/stance of posture.

Anyway, pertaining to the main topic at hand(Hypothetical boxing bout scenario), I'd have to pick Monzon.
UD win is the likely outcome. Tko in the later rounds would be slightly less likely.
I think that Nunn would remain very defensive minded though.
