Ball takes the 5th and 6th on my card.

So I got it 4-2 Doheny with the momentum favoring Ball.

Saying that Doheny has a lot to do to keep him off for 12
Bookies have him at 1/50 to win. What are you talking about?

Not impressive from ball, but got the win I guess. Inoue would like the look of that should he chose to move up.

ball is a dirty f@cker, i never got why vargas caught all the blame for their fight being ugly , thats numerous fights now ball has broke the rules. low blows, elbows, kicks, shots on the break, head....he does it all

it would be funny for 5'2 ball to fight the 6'1 wbo champ espinoza

Once Ball took over the momentum. He stayed in control from there out. Lost a point in there for throwing Doheny to the canvas, but ultimately gets the stoppage win as his relentless pressure breaks Doheny down, and his corner choose to call a halt to the fight after the 10th.

Good call I think. Doheny was gonna get stopped one way or the other, and there was no need for him to take any further punishment.

Good call by the corner to pull Doheny after 10 if maybe a round late, Doheny incredibly tough and first half of the fight he was well in it, tricky southpaw, former world champ he showed skills, was able to land the left hand and hit the body, he looked massive as well Doheny, Ball took a few rounds to really find his range but after the halfway he was catching Doheny with more regularity, Doheny was looking more busted up every round and Ball kept upping it and the stoppage was inevitable, Doheny game though never went down even though he was fighting hurt in them last few rounds

Ball lucky not to be DQ'd for kicking Doheny end of the 1st, lucky boy, at least 2 points should've come off

At feather I almost can’t see a way for a 6’1 guy to beat ball. You gotta be skinny with a big body target to be a 6’1 feather..

If I was nick balls management I would go after Espinosa and try get it on the inoue vs MJ undercard in September…

Ball's good and he's fun, but Inoue's gonna eat him alive. If they fight, it'll be a career shorterner for Nick.

Would love it too, but pretty sure Ball handlers will keep well away won't they ?!

The Monster @ New Goodison when Liverpool are @ home on Saturday - great occasion and should get a load of Japanese tourists over..

I think he DOES cause some problems, before a late KO win.
Ball is such an unusual chess piece - like reverse Fundora. Young, strong, unbeaten and "a dirty f@cker"...
He'll cause The Monster some problems...

Then, yeah - inevitable KO win for Inoue.

Did anyone see Berlanga ?
Ref wants jail time for letting that go on - they talk about "British stoppage" but I'd prefer that anytime over what I just saw. :shame:

Yeah. Absolutely no reason whatsoever why it was allowed to continue after that 2nd knockdown.
