Would they succeed or mostly likely lose

They all would be defeated by the best of those eras, like Liston, Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Holmes.

Not a good sight for them to compete. Many of those boxers in the 1930s weren't even real boxers. Some didn't had an amateur career. They fought a lot to hone their skills, but that was it. That's why many of them had a lot of losses in their records.
