Hello, I noticed that according to Box Rec's records Dwight Muhammad Qawi did not hold the Cruiserweight title. I clearly remember him by knocking out Piet Crous on July 27, 1985 to win the WBA version of the title. That is not reflected in his record nor is the fact that he lost it to Evander Holyfield when they fought on July 12, 1986 to a split decision in favor of Holyfield. Holyfield is also not recognized as winning the WBA version on his record as well. The fight was a 15 round fight which indicates that it was for a world title. Back in August 2024, boxrec no longer recognized the WBA title to their website because of the WBA involvement with a competitor Fight Fax. Qawi did won the WBA Cruiserweight title against Piet Crous, but boxrec erase the WBA title and so did his fight with Holyfield. Not just that, every WBA Champions in all divisions were not recognized by boxrec, but you could see the WBA title fight in other websites.
