Previously, I would have said Maggie, but she's not very good any more.

It puzzles me why people who call Fury Luke don't insist on calling SRR by this name.

I looked it up on the Civil Birth Index (you can do it via Ancestry) and that shows him registered as 'Tyson Luke Fury'. So, I don't think Luke is his real first name anyway.

He was listed as LTF in the ams and on Boxrec for quite a while. The way it was told to me was Hughie's middle name was Lewis and the big lad's was Tyson.

I've obviously no first hand knowledge of his family, past, etc. But as far as I know the Civil Birth Index lists what's on your birth certificate and therefore your legal name. Maybe he chose to use Luke in the ams :maybe:

You can change the name on your birth certificate, I know someone who did that.

I've no idea, but it seems people who are fascinated by it don't apply it to Clay, etc.

You can correct a mistake on a birth certificate or legally change your name later in life, but the Civil Birth Index records the name you were originally registered under(so far as I understand it).

You can apply to change it. My friend did so successfully. He kicked up a lot of fuss.

If I ever have to put together a random quiz for work / friends, I nearly always put in a question about Walker Smith Jr. being which famous boxer’s real name. Pretty much everyone tends to guess Ali
