Been awhile Dan. Roger on my mind lately as well as the hof event we met up at. Nearing retirement with the Hawks. 15 seasons on the road. But the point I want to make is, three Stanley cups, tons of memories etc etc but those hockey memories don’t compare to the event with you guys at that hof event in LA. Again, a cherished memoryscartissue wrote: ↑03 Apr 2024, 22:48Brian, I always think of that event and how we all convened in that one bar before the event. I think we had it all arranged beforehand if I'm not mistaken. I believe you had already started this thread and we just sorted things out from there. Good times, my man.Expug wrote: ↑31 Mar 2024, 15:07 Hello from a ghost from the past. I occasionally check in from time to time. I’ve been blessed knowing many of you personally. I’m very sorry to hear of Rogers passing. He is a wonderful man. Back in 08 I flew out to Los Angeles for the hall of fame inductions and was honored to meet him as well as a few others. Rick, Randy, Dan and spouses. It’s a cherished memory of mine. God bless all of you and you all are in my thoughts often. Brian

Miguel Canto, a truly great world flyweight champion, has passed away. During 1976, I saw Canto fight Orlando Javierto in a fifteen-round bout at the Sports Arena in Los Angeles. In the bout, Canto made a successful title defense, winning a decision in a lopsided manner. RIP Champ.......
