Joyce looks in great shape. He looks up for it. Will it be enough?

Zhang broke Joe, so I can't see him lasting more than a few rounds with Hrg unfortunately. would love to see Joyce win it though
Re: Joe Joyce vs. Filip Hrgovic | DAZN - 5 April 2025
Scheduled for 10 rounds....that doesn't help Joyce's cause. I think Joe needs those extra 2 rounds to grind down Hrgovic.
Re: Joe Joyce vs. Filip Hrgovic | DAZN - 5 April 2025
Why is Joyce coming in so heavy these days, I always thought training wasn’t an issue. If this was Danny Williams, he would have had so much criticism

Was Joyce-Chisora also 10 rounds?
These are championship level fights. Should be 12 rounds.

I like David Adeleye, he brings the aggro and puts it on the line, although the gangster stuff is probably just put on to inject some hype and cash into his career, which is understandable.
To be honest, I’ve not really heard of TKV which is probably a bad sign with an undefeated heavyweight, usually means they’re not very good.
Anyway he seems a nice guy and he’s obviously riled up to prove a point here …

Oh, I probably should’ve checked his record first
No wonder he didn’t look very confident in the press conference, and David definitely did..

Re: Joe Joyce vs. Filip Hrgovic | DAZN - 5 April 2025
Filip Hrgovic: “Are we still main event after this? It was short notice, a few weeks, but I was already in good shape. That is why I accepted this fight and I think this is a good opportunity for me. This win, hopefully on Saturday, brings me back to the top and it is good to be part of this.
“Thanks to Queensberry and DAZN and I am looking forward to the win on Saturday, to knock him out and get back to the top. That is the plan. My motivation is big, for sure. I want to be back at the top and, like Frank said, the loser will be in a very bad position. I don’t want to lose.
“Man he is 40 years old. If he is 39 then he is young, I didn’t know that. Look, he is definitely not in the peak of his career, fighters get older and that is the reality, I am seven years younger. I think it will play a role in this fight.”

I actually think the value is on TKV. Since he lost to the Brazilian he’s looked much more aggressive and a has a much better work rate despite being heavy for those fights still. He’s dropped a bit of weight and weighed in at 254 with track suit bottoms on so he’s probably 10lbs or so lighter than his last few fights. Other than the quick knockout of Dacres, Adeleye has looked crap, definitely not worthy of being such a big favourite in my opinion. I think it’s a pick ‘em so TKV being a 5/1 outsider is the bet for me.

Re: Joe Joyce vs. Filip Hrgovic | DAZN - 5 April 2025
I really hope Joyce wins, such a decent fella.
I don’t think TKV will win but I hope he does. Adeleye appears to be a bully. I did like TKV calling him out for being a fake gangster and pointed out neither of them are from the road and are from good families and went to uni. Adeleye is from a middle class family which makes it even funnier. Reminds me of when Eubank was talking about being a Brighton enforcer when he was about 15.

If that’s true then that’s embarrassing from Adeleye. He was making gun signs with his hands before TKV threw the table during the press conference.SeanBrennan wrote: ↑05 Apr 2025, 04:49 I really hope Joyce wins, such a decent fella.

Although I did comment on Jimmy's post that Terry C was very biased towards TKV, which I stand by, his latest instagram post had him saying at the very, very worst this is a 50/50 fight.jameswilson wrote: ↑05 Apr 2025, 04:42 I actually think the value is on TKV. Definitely is. Why would anyone want to pretend to be a gangster? So childishjameswilson wrote: ↑05 Apr 2025, 05:12If that’s true then that’s embarrassing from Adeleye. It's childish behaviour but he is a game fighter. I ignore the pre-fight antics with him and enjoy the matches. He's explosive and exciting. TKV is not bad but Adelaye winning and progressing would probably be for the best in terms of the general heavyweight landscape.
