Where’s Bennie gone?
One of the more knowledgeable posters on boxrec but he’s not posted since before Xmas. I’m not sure if anyone knows him, hopefully all is ok.
Re: Where’s Bennie gone?
Bennie has posted some of the most superb accounts into boxers, bouts and boxing events I've had the pleasure to read on Boxrec.

My word thats a fair bit of health related issues. You must be as game as a badger to be still fit as a fiddle after that. I love that mindset Coneye, proper. Also dragged up - 2 strokes, heart failure and spine is buggered, best approach is to crack on and not make yourself a whining cry baby imo, just plod on and be happy.coneye wrote: ↑30 Mar 2025, 20:24TheLeprechaun wrote: ↑30 Mar 2025, 15:13My word thats a fair bit of health related issues. Thats not all , also , had a severe bout gangerine in stomach , which led to an emergency operation , to cut it out ,, had an accident where i severed my foot , sliced right through the achiles , cutting the muscle tendon nerves the lot , foot was flopping about ,
, shoulder reconstructed , and pinned up to restrict movement , actually 2 bouts with throat cancer last one included a bit of surgery , couple years ago smashed the orbital in my face the eye dropped , still good looking though
, mates call me the bionic man with 20 lives
, yet i still feel good , I ride my motorcycles daily think nothing of jumping on and riding 6-5-600 klm a day , when my lads want some help at work i love to go in and do a day here and there , and the heavier harder the better i like it , ..

Way surgeeon explained he said we have like a fine curtain of silk thread in our stomach called the omentum and some wrapped around the bowel and stangled it he said it went septic and gangrene set in his words were we cut it out sewn your bowel back together . Threw it to the lab dog . He had a feed and your all good that surgeon had a sense of humour LOLFray Bentos wrote: ↑03 Apr 2025, 23:18How did you get gangrene of the stomach?
