That’s the worst refereeing performance I’ve seen in a U.K. ring in a long time.

I hate seeing referee getting physical with boxers and the way he was slapping TKV was a joke.

The finish was ridiculous. He shouts break, I think twice and then slaps TKV’s hand away and says ‘get your hand off’ as Adeleye knocks him down.

The board should order a rematch.

Refs had a holocaust of a night, I'm not arsed about nipping at TKV, his holding and spoiling was too much although Adeleye wasn't much better, his use of the forearm and holding, it was messy Adeleye wasn't throwing much and waiting too long, TKV kept it simple and boxed well behind his jab, just the basics, ref was getting at TKV but ignoring Adeleye's fouls

Round 6 they're in a clinch, ref calls break and Adeleye chins TKV with a left hook, should be a DQ but instead ref counts, TKV was gone he was never gonna get out the round and Adeleye unloaded before he finally crumpled, fight over, ref needs binned and decision changed to a NC

My verdict is keep the result, ban the referee. The referee did definitely suck, but Boxing being Boxing you could argue in Adeleye's favor why the result should stay just the same. At least I could.

My verdict is keep the result, ban the referee. The referee did definitely suck, but Boxing being Boxing you could argue in Adeleye's favor why the result should stay just the same. At least I could.
