Whyte already came out and said it’s bullshit. There’s been No talks.
just normal boxing behaviour - name names to try and lure them in

Hughie is boring the crowd to death. Carrying Garber. Wasting everyone's time, most of all his own.

Finally stops him in the 5th.

Sounds like he’s justified in calling out AJ and Dillian Whyte and Zhang with that one.

29 wins in over 10 years, and not one of them is what you'd call good. What is the point of him fighting a schmuck like Gerber
Certainly has wasted what could of been a good career suppose some could argue he has had a good career I just think it would could of been better without his father never been a big fan of the way his dads trained him or that girl he trains

Fighting left handed to drag it out. Sack of poo. Hope neither of them got paid a penny because it does the sport no good whatsoever.

I'm being especially harsh because I like Hughie and think he is very capable.

No that was a fair take, he was padding the fight out IMO.
Definitely not winning any fans with that performance or opponent.

Or maybe he is the second coming of Ali and Samson of Manour?

To be fair to John, he never specified which world he was talking about.

tbf it wasn't an outlandish ambition at the time. I think the plan was for Tyson to fight for the belts a bit sooner than he did and fragment them if he won - providing Hughie got a shot. After the Cunningham fight they were looking for a title fight (Tyson was mandatory) and it didn't happen, he fought Joey Abell and Derek again to mark time in 2014, had he fought Klitschko then rather than 2015, Hughie genuinely would have been in a position to roll the dice as youngest belt holder.

Hughie was only 22 when he arguably should have won a version of the title, remember.

On a side note, and I'm not sure he knows or not, the source of the Hughie Fury "man strength" meme was Rhino222 on here. He was the first person to use those specific words in relation to Hughie anywhere, as far as I can remember.

There were shades of Ali in there.
