Turns out Fabio is a Man Utd fan who only started posting about Ipswich in the last couple of years. He’s spent a fair chunk of yesterday deleting old tweets.
Anyway good luck to him, people think it’s easy doing stadium fights after the big Wembley shows but he’ll do well to get 10,000 in for his first fight of any note there.

Callum Simpson will do 15k for his next fight.
Callum’s a real Barnsley fan who’s built a following up over many years. He’s a season ticket holder & does plenty of the away games. Most of the people going have probably had their photo with him at a match at some point. I know I have.
It’s going to be hard to do 30,000 in a city of 150,000… that’s like doing 3 million in London….
surely they will need a fair few londennpeople to make the journey.
Not that long after fisher vs Allen too so the east London boxing (the close bit to Ipswich) fans will have just had a slow in there patch… And people could well be hanging on for the big Wembley card that is being floated now and then for DDD…
Big undercard needed
If Adeley results isn’t challenged and rematches (it should be) then Moses vs Adeley for the British on the undercard would be a great start.

Fisher v Allen won't even sell out. Fisher has plateaued as a ticket seller.

You don’t think? I thought it might struggle but then I saw the undercard was very average and assumed they must be confident of a sell out or very close.

I don't often say this (or want it) but I hope Wardley puts a beat down on Miller & gets him out of there after 4 or 5 rounds.
I doubt it'll be that easy though as Miller is huge & tough.
Yeah Miller took flush shots from Dubois over and over and ok he got stopped but he didn’t get knocked down. Has he ever been knocked down at all ever?

Other than his last two fights has he fought anyone decent or not well past their prime?

Awesome matchmaking! Can't fail to deliver. I would buy a ticket.
I am going to buy one when they go on general sale on the Ipswich Town website to see the hometown star do the business as I think the last time a Suffolk boxer fight for a world title was David Starie down at Super Middleweight when he fought Joe Calzaghe.

Stadium hold 30,056..
Now i doubt they will use the whole stadium... Who knows.
The can use both of the bigger double-tier stands. The Sir Bobby Robson and Sir Alf Ramsey Stands.
then floor seats around there.
Bobby Robson stand holds 7,500 and Alf Ramsey stand holds 7,000..
That's already 14k, they can probably do 20k+ easily..
Ipswich Town has 20,000 season ticket holders, who will get first dibs at the tickets.
Let's see if Ed Sheeran performs.
Those are at each end as Sir Alf is the old Churchmans stand and Sir Bobby is the old North Stand at Portman Road, and then you have the Cobbold which runs down the length and the old Pioneer/Britannia/Co-op stand which is where the commentary positions for the football are.

Have to say, that was one of the worst fights I can remember! (I'm sure Wardley Miller will far better)
