Wonder how the fight would have gone if it had been Whyte instead of Hrgovic ? Can't see Joyce getting any meaningful fights now and he's taken a little bit too much punishment now for him to carry on at a lower level.
Who was the ref in the title fight ? Kearney or someone ? Never seen him in a big fight before and never want to again

The shots Joyce took off Hrgovic last night just go to show how hard Zhang hits.

Has there been any word on the Adeley vs tkv shit show?
Just watched the replay That was so so clearly a foul. Really should be a DQ win for TKV or a no contest, or go to the cards at that point or somthing.
Unreal how you can call break twice, grab the guys arm, then watch him get chinned (the first shot that did anything at all cause he wasn’t expecting it cause it was a clear break), and then you just keep the fight going like nothing happened…

I’d imagine we will hear something this week either the result stands or it’s a no contest. I’ll be absolutely aghast if they turn the decision into a dq win for TKV.gregregegg wrote: ↑06 Apr 2025, 17:18 Has there been any word on the Adeley vs tkv shit show?

id be shocked if they no contest'd it, despite the obvious dodgy ending. at best for tkv maybe they order a rematch

No contest and a rematch is the fair result…
But Moses vs Adeley on the wardly undercard is the real win for the fans…

Another exciting opportunity to see whether the Board or the promoters run British boxing…

Where was Robert Smith on Saturday night, maybe he could have sorted it there and then if he'd been there? Or maybe reflecting for a few days is sensible. Let's see.Boxerbeetle wrote: ↑07 Apr 2025, 09:25 Another exciting opportunity to see whether the Board or the promoters run British boxing…

Both Joyce & Hrgovic gave everything they had and served up a real rockem sockem for the punters.
Considering the notice Hrgovic had he put in a good performance and deserved his win. Turns out that if you're a professional boxer it pays to be in decent shape in between fights incase that phone call happens !
I really don't think that extra stone in weight is benefitting Joyce, but as ever, he put in his best effort

Think most will agree that Joyce is finally leaving the forum's top 15 now
