Filip Hrgovic saves career moves back into contender status.

Filip Hrgovic has nice win over faded Joe Joyce yesterday.

Hrgovic took fight on short notice only having 2 to 3 weeks of camp, and lack of stamina showed in middle rounds.

Hrgovic now trained by Able Sanchez and I believe Hrgovic will show improvement under Sanchez tutelage.

I also think Hrgovic now has some connection to Frank Warrens Queensberry promotions which should help Hrgovics career.

Hrg had simple but effective skills early. Then he just fell in love with his right hand.

With those simple skills if he lost 20 lb he could win a lot of fights boxing..

but honestly with those right hands and his quality chin anyone that dosent have a superb chin themselves is probably in trouble. First half of the fight..

He has just fought some incredible chins (Zhang, DDD, Joyce.

Hrg can Probably can beat nearly everyone in the top 25 on his day, but could be beaten by nearly anyone in the top 25 at the same time…

he has ability....was lighting dubs up for four rounds and even short on gas was outscoring joyce

but his stamina isnt great and he has that sulky look about him when an opponent puts it on him

Agree, gets sulky when it’s not working… but I just can’t see too many guys who will take those shots…

The shots he landed vs ddd and Joyce would have flatlined most contenders.

I’d like to see him fight Otto or Whyte next (someone that isn’t made of steel) Then back to real contender fights if he wins
