A Hunters' Point, L. I., telegram says: A prize fight took place between Dempsey of Brooklyn and Tanbull of New York about 4 o'clock Tuesday morning. Twenty-three rounds were fought and Dempsey declared winner. There was a large attendance of New York sporting men.

Hunter's Point, Aug. 14.--A prize fight took place between Dempsey of Brooklyn and Turnbull of New York, about 4 this morning. 23 rounds were fought and Dempsey declared the winner. There was a large attendance of New York sporting men.

ANOTHER.
Pittsburg, Pa., Aug. 14.--A prize fight between Wm. Wagner of Pittsburg and Albert Connaugh of New York was fought this morning at Whitehall, a few miles from this city. It resulted in a victory for Connaugh, who knocked Wagner flat in the fourth round.

Albert Cavanaugh and Wm. Wagner, two pugilists, fought near Pittsburg Tuesday, and Wagner was knocked out in the first round.

Dempsey vs Turnbull, pugilists, resulted in a victory for Dempsey after twenty-three rounds had been fought. The fight took place at Hunter's Point, N. Y., at four in the morning.

A prize fight, between Wm. Wagner, of Pittsburg, and Albert Connauck, of New York, was fought this morning, at White Hall, a few miles from Pittsburg. It resulted in a victory for Connauck, who knocked Wagner out in the fourth round.

Another prize fight took place, between Dempsey, of Brooklyn, and Turnbull, of New York, about 4 o'clock yesterday morning, near Hunters Point, L. I., and twenty-three rounds were fought. Dempsey was declared the winner. A large attendance of New York sporting men.

PRIZE FIGHT

Hunters Point, N. Y., Aug. 14.

A prize fight took place between Dempsey of Brooklyn and Trumbull of New York, this morning, on the green in Newtown. Twenty-three rounds were fought. Dempsey won the fight.

The result should probably be listed as RTD:
When time was called for the twenty-fourth round the Englishman was unable to respond, his seconds threw up the sponge, and Dempsey was declared the winner. The fight lasted 40 minutes.
