Felt sorry for Kelley vs Bobby Pacquiao - he was looking good, but claimed he had a rib injury. Definately an area of weakness now.... and I think the fading Hernandez will expose it.

I think its a good contest, for however long it will last.

Its a shame seeing Kelley becoming basically a journeyman fighter... how many doesn he need to lose before he quits?>..... his punch resistance now is pratically nil...

Bit harsh he has only lost 3 in over 6 years - and thats too two legends at the peak of their powers and a very solid opperator in Pacquiao.

Well, he's beaten WBC "interim" champion Humberto Soto in the reign, aswell as Ramerez and the decentish St Kitts.

Don't get me wrong, I would like to see him retired and do understand the jist of your post. Although, disagree (a little) with the comparison of Holyfield. Larry Donald is not even close (anymore) to world class, but practically shut out Holy. At least Kelley was beat Pacquiao at the time of the stoppage.

Kevin Kelley is a very talented boxer, but should have called it a day after Morales and again after Barrera. And indeed he did but chose to keep comin back. But after Bobby Pacman it should have been enough for him to let it go. You have to wonder about his financial status when at 39 he is still making comebacks. I wish him the best, but his best days were behind him after the Naz defeat.
