Cheers mate. I was thinking that Warren was looking to set up a fight between him and Ezra Taylor, but maybe that’s down the line if at all. Maybe he fights Zach Parker, who is probably on thin ice with QP after all the boring performances.

Its a good fight, but a little underwhelming. I would say Wardley is in a better position currently than Dubios was when he fought Miller (as Dubious had just lost). Miller whilst I am not disputing he's a decent, entertaining, fighter who could pose a threat - does not deserve this attention.
Whilst possibly a harder ask for Wardley than 42 year old Pulev (prime for prime a different story) - I would have much preferred the stadium fight be for some kind of title.

Itauma clearly on standby for if Miller pulls out or fails a test given who they have matched him with on May 24th.

I thought it was a pretty good first step onto the international stage Stustujones wrote: ↑10 Apr 2025, 05:21 Its a good fight, but a little underwhelming. Fabs is a name in the UK because he has earned a decent fan base, Miller is a good enough name for his first fight outside of the domestic scene to introduce him to the rest of the world.
I'm pretty sure our American pals will love his exciting style.

I know, that's my point. They have given him a gimme fight for late May to protect the Portman Road show, I think. If they find blood in Miller's steroid system they'll need a stand in.
Re: Fabio Wardley vs. Jarrell Miller | DAZN - 7 June 2025
Nothing wrong with the fight, just I expect a high profile stadium fight to either be 1) some kind of homecoming for a superstar 2) a title fight 3) a massive fight. 4) genuine grudge.KiwiRider wrote: ↑10 Apr 2025, 15:10I thought it was a pretty good first step onto the international stage Stustujones wrote: ↑10 Apr 2025, 05:21 Its a good fight, but a little underwhelming. It’s a good arena main event or a chief support in a genuine stadium fight.

Not sure about that, would Frank match two of his big hw ticket sellers? ( as in they will be if they keep winning )
And the way that Fab turned the lights out on big Fraze, you’d think he’d be a bit worried about his golden goose, getting tested like that so soon.
That said, he is making much more adventurous matches now due to the big cash flowing in

Yeah, it's more likely that Itauma steps in if Wardley drops out than if Miller does.MightyWarrior wrote: ↑11 Apr 2025, 04:26Not sure about that, would Frank match two of his big hw ticket sellers? ( as in they will be if they keep winning )

Not really feeling this to be honest. Miller is a fat punchbag and isn't interesting or likeable. You punch his head in until he wilts late it seems.
I suppose if Fabio puts Miller into the ropes with a dent in his head within the first couple of rounds it would be impressive, but I can't see it being an exciting fight otherwise.
I don't see how such a cheating c*nt keeps on getting chances?
I'm actually thinking about going to another big boxing match again this year, but this won't be it.

I get why you might not like Miller because of the drugs stuff; but I can’t really see where you’re coming from with the rest of your post.Cyclops wrote: ↑11 Apr 2025, 11:00 Not really feeling this to be honest. Miller has only lost once and he obsorbed one hell of a beating from one of the biggest hitters in the division, before only wilting in the 12.
By most observers, he just beat Andy Ruiz.
He is a come forward fcuking lump who throws a lot of punches, and with Wardleys stuff, it can’t help but be an exciting fight.
I make Miller favourite to stop him late, but I really hope I’m wrong. Either way, it’s going to be a war.

Yep, this is a huge step-up for Wardley. The odds on a Miller victory are badly skewed.Manchester Hitman wrote: ↑11 Apr 2025, 13:59I make Miller favourite to stop him late, but I really hope I’m wrong. Either way, it’s going to be a war.

Don't Wardley and Moses share the same trainer?
Much as I'd love to see them matched if Miller pulls out, I can't see it happening yet even if they aren't still both with Davidson.

im seeing wardley as favourite? or are you dudes just talking your own view and not betting
Re: Fabio Wardley vs. Jarrell Miller | DAZN - 7 June 2025
The problem with the “blueprint” that Dubois apparently laid down, is that there aren’t too many guys out there who can match that heavy handed work rate.
It’s not a stretch to imagine that Wardley could be fighting on heart alone in the latter part of this fight. That would be a rough spot to be in, to put it mildly.

Miller will take the power and drown him mid to late on
Re: Fabio Wardley vs. Jarrell Miller | DAZN - 7 June 2025
I didn't know where the idea of Jarrell Miller coming on strong later comes from.
Maybe when he was juicing
He was gassing vs Dubois by the 8th which basically let Dubois have free head shots until it was over in the 10th.
This is a 12 round fight and the only guy to go 12 with Fabio copped a barrage in the championship rounds.
Miller is so easy to hit, I don't see it going any later than it did with Dubois.
Because of that, it will be a good gauge on how hard Fabio hits if he can end it faster than DDD.

I don’t think it’s about Miller coming on strong as such, but more about him still being there without having had the fight knocked out of him.
I certainly hope Wardley proves me wrong and bosses it all the way.

Yep, and he was also an out of shape late replacement vs Dubois he was about 30lbs lighter vs Ruiz.

JARRELL MILLER TO HAVE PURSE WITHHELD BY BBBOFC AFTER FABIO WARDLEY SHOVE
Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller will see a portion of his purse withheld by the British Boxing Board of Control ahead of his June 7 fight in Ipswich, England with Fabio Wardley due to his “behavior” at Monday’s news conference, per an email obtained by The Ring.
Miller (26-1-2, 22 KOs) shoved Wardley in the face after he accused the undefeated Englishman of making a “diss song.”
“Please advise Mr. Miller's team that his future conduct is being monitored and any repeat of his behaviour at the press conference on 7th April 2025 in Ipswich may result in permission to box in the UK not being granted and disciplinary action and a fine is a possibility,” Robert Smith, the general secretary of the BBBoC, wrote in a Thursday letter sent to promoter allegedly.
“Therefore, it has been considered that a percentage of Mr. Miller's purse is lodged with the Board prior to the bout, of which I will advise accordingly.”
Miller, 36, is from Brooklyn and is licensed to fight in New York. Matthew Delaglio, the executive director of the New York commission, was copied on the email.
This is the latest action disciplinary action taken by the BBBoC. Last month, Chris Eubank Jr. was fined £100,000 after he slapped Conor Benn with an egg at a news conference for their April 26 clash at Tottenham.
Wardley (18-0-1, 17 KOs) is The Ring’s No. 9 heavyweight. The 30-year will face the most accomplished opponent of his career in Miller.
Miller is coming off a controversial draw with former heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz in August that most observers felt Miller won.
Miller’s lone career defeat is a 10th-round TKO loss to Daniel Dubois in December 2023.
Wardley will enter the ring on the heels of a career-best performance, a brutal first-round KO of Frazer Clarke in an October rematch in Riyadh. In the first meeting, Wardley and Clarke fought to a draw in a memorable heavyweight slugfest in March.
Miller has been suspended multiple times for performance-enhancing-drug use. In 2019, a drug ban scrapped his title shot against Anthony Joshua.

Jarrell Miller loses it over British Board purse threats
t taken kindly to threats over his behavior and purse for a fight against Fabio Wardley in Ipswich, England.
‘Big Baby’ was the subject of an official British Boxing Board of Control letter, obtained by Worldboxingnews.com, that states a percentage of his earnings for the event will be withheld until his behavior improves.
The order comes after Miller went off at the press conference, laying his hands on Wardley and making several crude comments.
Miller’s response was predictable as the crass Brooklynite aired a defiant battle cry and targeted oversensitive Brits.
“If you know you know I keep telling you all that boxing is a dirty game,” said Miller. “I’m gonna air out a lot of mofos soon if they keep pushing my buttons.
“And if you know me, you know I ain’t paying s***. Get the f*** out of here.”
He added: “I keep telling you all that most of them Brits are softer than ten wet diapers. Who the f*** is Fabio Wardley?”
