If we're talking the entire decade, it's the middleweights hands down.

I am new to boxing history and trying to learn more could you share some of the fights or boxers from the 50s that made the middleweight division stand out for you?

To start with, Sugar Ray Robinson (while starting to decline) had great fights with LaMotta, Turpin, Basilio, and Fullmer. Fullmer and Basilio had two great fights with each other.
