The International Boxing Research Organization (IBRO) introduces its newest feature: the Digital Bookshelf. It is comprised primarily of PDFs of articles from the IBRO's vast publications, plus other historical boxing information.
IBRO would like to use this thread as the "comment section" for the Bookshelf.
Please use this space to suggest how to improve the Bookshelf. Also, after you have read any of the articles, come back here to comment on them. Finally, if you have any material yourself that we can include in IBRO's digital archives, please share. Stuff like digital scans of boxing scrapbooks, rare articles, what-have-you. IBRO is a public repository of everything donated to it. BoxRec allows a maximum of 2 MB for file sizes, but the IBRO can accommodate much larger files.
Go here: https://ibroresearch.com/ibro-digital-bookshelf/
NOTE: Once you get to the site, you will see a button that links you to the "Contents" page. There, you will see a list of boxing-related articles -- mostly from past IBRO publications. Something like this: Freddie Steele: He Ain’t Human!. IBRO Online Newsletter No. 16, pp. 8-14 (2014). The page numbers (for the Steele example here is 8-14) of each article listed is a link to the PDF in IBRO's Media Library. So the 8-14 page link for the Steele example goes here: https://ibroresearch.com/wp-content/upl ... 6.8-14.pdf
So be sure to click on the page numbers if you want to find the article listed at the IBRO Digital Bookshelf.

Thank you so much for this information- what a great resource. The article about Artie Levine was pure gold.
