He's not stopped plodding forward, tough lad but very basic.

Gilheaney by a 10-0 shut-out for me. Way better boxer. You'd want Ethan George with you in the trenches, though.

Yep, but totally ineffective.
Shame because that could of been a lot more competitive.

Ref scores it Gilheaney 99-91. Can't argue with that too much.

George should have just piled on the pressure, but probably looks a lot easier than done !

Just caught up with the main event, not a patch on the chief support, which was terrific.
The Scotsman, obviously a talent, who had a fight already lined up on the Josh Taylor bill, was upset by the local lad, the hard punching and dangerous looking Omar - brickfists as they call him, and you could see why.
Biddy showed a good chin though, not sure about him losing the decision, he looked busier and thought he landed more, but I didn’t score it.
I had to look up who managed to knock out Omar previously, because he is a tough kid, and watched him get absolutely knocked cold by the hugely impressive James McGivern - clearly a massive talent.

Had Gilheaney winning 98-92 clear winner in what wasn't a great fight tbh, not a lot of quality punches landed in the fight, a lot of rounds just shaded by Gilheaney but no doubt he was the better man, anything good came from him, he was awkward and George looked stiff in comparison and didn't take enough chances when he was clearly falling behind, Gilheaney picked him off here and there and didn't allow George to make up ground, you had 2 counter punchers but it was Gilheaney who was in control landing all the meaningful shots

I thought Bibby was a runaway winner, dispite the heavy knockdown in the last round. He recovered immediately and then boxed beautifully to completely out-skill & outwork Omar.
Bibby landed dozens of scoring body shots over the 10 rounds and I can only think these weren't counted for some inexplicable reason.
Great small hall fight with contrasting styles, but Bibby got shafted IMO.

Bibby was robbed badly there, hometown decision, terrible scoring.
