Dammit, credit to Whitaker for the win but he has somehow avoided answering the questions raised last time, which is a tad frustrating.

didn't watch it but listened to Talk Sport - why was Cameron not fighting back?

absolutely.
Yes, Quitz looked very good early, but then he always does with his style - he's proved nothing and ticked no boxes tonight.
I spose we can hope that the BellEnd believes his own hype and starts coasting in camps again...?

Whitaker is so unlikable though, the way he was goading Liam’s corner after that

As much as I hate that Whitaker has got this done tonight without any kind of gut check - the like of which he refused to face up to last time, I don’t think Cameron was getting through that follow up burst whoever the ref was.

Macklin is a cretin. Best mates with a narco terrorist and still spouting drivel
Re: Round-by-Round: Ben Whittaker vs. Liam Cameron II | Sky Sports - 20 April 2025
Forget about the Howard Foster special. Whittaker needs to move on now. Andy Lee will have him on his grand-nanny's secret receipe colcannon or whatever and he's levels above the likes of Cameron. He was underprepared for the first fight.

Oh stunned and hurt obviously, and may well have been KTFO soon, but just TOO EARLY.golden_labrador wrote: ↑20 Apr 2025, 17:05 didn't watch it but listened to Talk Sport - why was Caneron not fighting back?
Cam wasn't throwing back, but he WAS covering up and probably comes back in to the fight in some way or other.

Howard Foster early stoppage again. You have to let that go for a bit.
The first 3-4 rounds were always going to be dangerous for Cameron and he should have came in expecting to lose them and only start throwing punches and taking chances in the 2nd half. A Joe Gallager special. It was common sense but I thought he was too front foot.
Whitaker wins but doesn't answer the stamina and heart questions.

Because Whittaker followed up with a blizzard of punches that pretty much all landed on the gloves.golden_labrador wrote: ↑20 Apr 2025, 17:05 didn't watch it but listened to Talk Sport - why was Cameron not fighting back?
The sort of thing that a fighter should given the chance to be able ride out, given the opportunity by a ref, unless he was getting hit clean, which he wasn't.
