118-110 Riley, boring ass fight, disappointed in Clarke, followed all night but barely landed a clean punch, looked slow and predictable, Riley was sharper, better jab, better right hand and had the better gameplan, his footwork was superior as well, Clarke couldn't get set, looked amateurish and inexperienced, fair play to Riley, really stepped up

I know nothing about boxing but surely they should test the canvas
It’s quite bizarre really, it’s the fighter’s/coach’s job normally.

Under achieved, got British title and narrowly lost for Euro but definitely unlikely to win world honours unless the Riley loss ages really well

Yeah bit floppy currently but might rise to a semi in time

I know this question comes up every time there’s a suspect PPV… but genuinely is this the worst PPV ever? 5 fights only and a meaningless main event? Not a single world title…. No genuine ticket sellers… just awful

I went to see Frank versus Joe Bugner at Tottenham - God that was a disaster. I had no interest, but got tickets given to me on my birthday

Shocking main event result notwithstanding it was the worst PPV I’ve ever seen. Apart from Haye v Harrison. I’m still annoyed that I paid for that.

I was away in Liverpool for Khan Prescott. Managed to find a pub showing it on a Polish channel. The volume was off and as it was about to start a p*ssed up punter asked if he could put the volume on. He started prodding at the side of the telly and inadvertently oafishly changed the channel. By the time he sorted it Khan had lost.

The pattern is set, AMK winning on the outside with speed and length, LBS walking him down, hoping to change things.

Bit like King Artur.

For sure this is an intriguing cross-generation battle. You've got Smith who's fought at the very top and he's still good but he's right at the end of his career in his mid 30's against the unbeaten young boxer all raw aggression and full of it. Experience versus potential. I think it's an absorbing match.
