Pretty much shut Smith out.

Think he is gonna be tough to beat McKenna. Unfortunately also tough to sell.

Smith went out on his feet, fair play. But he's done as an active fighter, I wish him well, very good career.

Is anything real and genuine in this world?
This is very deep!
I don't think this was a play per se. I think...

1. Eubank has always been an ego maniac and there's no show without punch.

2. He genuinely is concerned about Junior's wellbeing.

3. He loves his son and will want him to win and if there's an edge to be found he'll look to help find it.

4. Turki had paid him to attend at the last minute.

One of the youngsters at work said to me this morning that Eubank Snr would be there tonight. His next prediction was that they'll play some of Simply The Best before he walks to the ring.

Always think of Jerome Wilson who was on the undercard of Haye v Harrison. Obviously wasn't that fight he got his LCI in but still. Jerome and his mum only managed to reach a settlement with the Board, Inter County Paramedics Ltd and Dave Coldwell over allegations of delays to treatment last year.

I would never point the finger in that type of situation when not privy to the facts and none of these people want injuries to happen (depending on your interpretation of Eddie's smash you to pieces comments), but we should always remember the risks these young people take to try and earn a living.
Sadly I’d forgotten about Jerome Wilson. It’s the toughest and most unforgiving of all sports. I hope he’s well.
He was attacked in front of his son earlier this year and still has ongoing problems from his injury but he seems to have a strong character.

I remember Wilsons opponent Serge Ambomo getting a 2 year ban for the way he celebrated the win.
If Ambomo's team has appealed the ban by saying he'd took peds they would of get it reduced to a 3 month ban :OhYes:

They’re only going for the drama/soap opera of the main event aren’t they.

He reminds me of Jack Berg, I saw Jack The Kid Berg at a show many years ago. He was introduced in the ring and you could tell he was back in history. This is exactly Eubank Sr too.

Yeah, it's been gradual. To be fair to him, he has always worked hard and turns up fit and ready to fight, it's only father time, not his motivation, that is letting him down.

119-107 The Silencer.

Maybe you could Beefy a round out of respect for his career, but he was basically whitewashed.
VERY impressive from McKenna, but that was an old Light-Middle in there, so let's not get too carried away.
