That dark haired gnome on talk sports (forget his name) was calling for a Connor been title shot at 147 next…. How? Surely benn dosent have a 147 ranking even…

He has never beat a contender at 147… last time he made 147 was over 3 years ago. He has since failed a drug test (guess wbc gave him a pass on that)… and he has lost his last fight..

The People's Champion was blowing out of his arse whilst a man 10 years older battered him for the last two rounds.

Hearns behaviour this week has been disgusting.

Beautiful to see the winner read out..imagine the other way around how they would have behaved?...

Don't want to see a rematch, Eubank won't go to the well again after that. His time has come to pack it in with that brilliant display.

Benn can go back down to his weight and get his arse kicked by a hungry pro.

I think Benn is still on the juice, he took Eubanks shots with ease in there. Even when he looked ready to go in the 12th he recovered quickly, that doesn’t happen especially at the end of a hard 12 rounds

Don't you think all of the weight draining would have had such a massive effect on Jnr ?

All 10-9 rounds

1.Eubank - Close
2.Benn - Close
3.Benn
4.Benn
5.Eubank
6.Eubank
7.Eubank
8.Eubank
9.Benn
10.Benn
11.Eubank - Close
12.Eubank

115-113 Eubank

Way better fight than I expected.
The momentum during some rounds went back and forth although Eubank won a solid 4 round session on my card between the 5th and 8th rounds.
Eubank getting clipped in the 3rd proved Benn had the power to trouble him, but Chris prodded away with jab all night long and did a good job of maintaining the distance during most the fight.
Connor was incredibly fit and for the most part displayed a solid chin considering the likely on the night weight differential.
Chris at times put his head down and dug in there as did Connor, but the success Eubank had late in the fight while doing so probably edged the decision in his favour.
Very entertaining bout and they could certainly sell a rematch and most likely will do it again.
Regarding the family father and son theme to the event, the two Chris's are polar opposites in terms of boxing style while it's fair to say Nigel and Connor are almost alike.

and Benn showed a lot of heart and a great chin. He’s a warrior …just stop taking the drugs
Hi might be a warrior, but honestly he has found his ceiling , shouldn't be really calling out Boots should he .
Disagree, i thought Benn fought really well against a bigger more powerful fighter and made it very close, but showed a number of areas where he can get better. He needed to get off those ropes in the last few rounds. I thought he hurt Eubank in one or two of the earlier rounds but didnt manage to follow-up. Great fight by both.

I think Eddie is rattled, and that's why he seems more of a knobber than usual. Not by Eubanks but by the stuff with the fellow at the presser the other day and similar. I think he thinks that Turki is loading the metaphorical bullets.

Thought it was quite clear for eubank, he's just better at boxing and bigger even though he is on decline

Regarding sky comms, macklin was about to say great head movement by Benn, the Benn got clocked big while he was mid sentence and he still went on to say it and ignore the shot

Couldn’t agree more.
Hearn is just a grub, and it was great to see him all salty and sour.
He didn’t want to challenge the cards, but says Eubank never won by 4?
Well Ed, he did.
I thought it a fun fight to watch, but don’t want to see it again.
It only happens again because it’s the best payday either bloke can get.
Fighters at Eubanks age should not be wasting like this.
Benn should try his luck at welter or Jr Middle.
While the money will dictate that we see a rematch, I can’t see Eubank doing the wasting again and succeeding

Good to see excellent scoring tonight. I had it 116-112 too.

Eubank being shot or drained or maybe a bit of both really evened it up & made for a great fight.

Both need each other for a pay day so I imagine we’ll get it again.
