You can't eat too much, especially with nerves, you will have little appetite, and it will also go straight out the other end!

He will have a drip up, in private of course filling his body with essential fluids and nutrients

Are we gonna complain about every single IBF title fight from now seeing as they've got the 10lb rehydration clause and have done for ever since I can remember or are we just complaining about this fight??

Benn is what he is, an arrogant cheat and I feel for what Eubank's going through regarding his dad but he's not a victim, he's being paid handsomely, he's faced a few small guys himself and sent a few into retirement, maybe if he'd accepted his unwarranted world title fights against Golovkin, Canelo and Alimkhanuly he wouldn't need to cash out

Id love nothing more than to see Benn crying his dad's arms after getting starched and taught a lesson but Eubank's not got it all stacked against him

Is it just cause it is a Ring promotion?
Also who is the guy holding the belt? Some Saudi guy
Ring are paying for it.

It’s the COO of Ring who’s holding the belt - he’s called Rick Reeno. He looks like a choad holding the belt and is coming across as a bit of a prick. Thinking he’s the big man when in reality it’s Turki who’s financing it all.

Oh who’s that? never heard of it..I’ll go w sky, I’d prefer radio or whatnot but usually there’s a slight delay

Has Mike Costello been canned and smith walked in right over him?
This is his channel. Some fun clips on there and they will be doing a watch along for the fight
https://youtube.com/@propaboxing?si=4xUfp0RgQdcPyjrQ
Costello confirmed he’s been canned since March 2025….would love for him to come back home to the 5 live boxing pod
That's a real shame. Costello and Andy Lee are my favourite partnership since the 90's

Unless Jr needs every penny of whatever his purse is I don’t understand why he hasn’t weighed in at 162 or whatever’s relatively comfortable for him to make and then subsequently weighed in at 175 for the rehydration weigh in. Surely a lifetime of knowing you beat down the odious little cheat Conor is more important to you than a few hundred thousand pounds in fines

It’s possible that Jr’s totally shot and he knows it and he doesn’t think he could beat Benn whatever he weighs and so he’s tried to maximise his purse by trying to adhere to all the weight clauses in his contract

If someone is consistently rude then there’s going to be a reaction which I won’t hold against them.

Just like if Eddie is being a nob about someone then it’s no issue for them to go back at him.

It is good/pretty new to see Eddie so rattled. He hates not being allowed to talk.
We'll have to disagree on this one.

My issue isn't the size of his wealth, it's the source of it.

If your business has a model that in part is dependant on participants risking physical and mental damage, there is a moral dimension at play here. To will one of those participants to get smashed to pieces is repugnant IMO.

As for action and reaction, as per my previous post, there has to be a sense of proportionality, surely you would accept that?

I'd have zero issue with him telling Eubank Jr he was being a dick. However stating he wants him to suffer significant physical damage in this most unforgiving of sports is just plain wrong.
It’s a figure of speech you mard arse. Who cares?

Really? Has it been aired?

Wonder what he’ll weigh on the night. Do you think he’ll feel ropey in the ring after all this cutting
I can't find it on the normal sources and yes Sean I think it's going to affect him massively.
I really want junior to win , but don't think he will after all of this .

Why on earth Ring would think having that greasy dweeb in the middle of anything is beyond me. Talk about knocking value off your brand.

I had it a draw, Benn started off putting it Eubank but Eubank rode it out then came on putting it on Benn, it was close stuff but Eubank definitely hurt Benn late

Couldn't split them but Benn brought educated pressure but Eubank looked strong when he took control,.the action hotted up in the last but still a crap fight with no much ground giving

If they don't rematch who are you looking forward to seeing next ?

On one hand Eubank because he won
On the other Benn is younger and can box in multiple divisions competitively

Connor Benn vs Tim Tszyu
I've always thought that would be a cracking good all action fight.

Chris Eubank can retire on that performance, I doubt he will better it, or repeat it, if he decides to take a rematch.
