I can well understand people preferring to see Kobayel get the title shot, given he is also on a run of impressive victories.

Joseph Parker, hmm not so much.

Also I will say it should be noted that if Usyk beats Dubois or Canelo beats Scull they'll be saying He's a "2 time Undisputed Champion"

I personally will not recognize them as such though. I will consider it more like they've made another defense of their Undisputed Title which they never lost.

Dubois on this opportunity against Usyk for all the major world titles
“There’s no other way this is going to end, I’m going to come out with all the belts. I’m ready for him and I’m really hungry. This time is going to be a blood bath and I’m just going to go to work, demolition.

“Glad that all the starts have aligned and it’s all come together now and I’m at the right place at the right time, so it’s all about timing. Everything’s just working out for the better and now this opportunity, I’m ready to take it with both hands.

“This is revenge, this has a lot in it, but this is the biggest fight in boxing.”

On if he still believes he should’ve gotten the win over Usyk the first time around
“100%. When he went down and everything — when I watch it back it was definitely over. But it was political and all of that stuff going on with the war and everything. This time I’m not going to leave no stone unturned, no chance for any questions or anything. I want to nail him to the canvas and do it properly this time.

“I’ve got to do it right, I got to put him to sleep properly. I’ve just got to finish him off, put him to sleep. The crowd was entertained last time, this time it’s going to be a proper war.”

On if he plans on targeting Usyk’s body once again
“I’m going to hit anything, I’m not just on a body shot or anything. I’m just got to hit everything, let loose. What he escaped, what he got away with last time, this time he’s not going to get away with it.”

On being an improved fighter since last fighting Usyk
“I’m going to be 10 times better than that, now. This new version, this new and improved guy you’re going to see is going to be way, way better than that, the AJ fights and all that. I’m going to be trimmer, sharper, everything. Just going to be, you know, fighting machine and that’s what I am.”

On his belief that Usyk won’t be able to deal with this version of him
“No way. I can’t wait until this is all properly done and announced and on the road, but no way he can take this power.

“Just ferocious. I’m going to be ferocious and I’m just a different fighter now. You guys are going to see, I’m going to put him to sleep properly this time and do myself justice and get them belts and get my revenge in the process.”

A lot has changed since their first fight.

Dubois weighed 233.3lbs against Uysk, but against AJ he weighed 246.8lbs.

He was almost deferential to Uysk before the first fight, but seems a lot more angry these days - see build up to AJ and shoving Uysk yesterday.

Dubois has also had some excellent wins on the big stage, so has racked up a lot of experience.

Uysk is also older, of course, and had two hard nights against Fury.

So, it is an intriguing fight, I think. Am looking forward to it.

I also think Dubois genuinely believes the low blow was a legal shot now. He doesn’t seem the smartest but his team have done an excellent job building his confidence.

Former bodybuilding champ Ronnie Coleman achieved a lot before he began to use steroids and HGH (he won the 1991 NPC Nationals clean which was unheard of). People didn't believe he was natural UNTIL he did start using them and then it was "holy sh*t, he was clean afterall, now look at him!"

Good points - but Usyk was comprehensively superior in fight one - one moment aside, which was hyped to be controvesial, but it wasn't at all - it was a low blow and for me, low enough to raise the cup to cause some major pain (whilst it didn't catch the bollocks itself).

We live in the age of the rematch, but in old ages - a thought of a rematch would have been scoffed at. Even if Dubios pulls it off - I am sorry but all that means is Usyk is not the fighter he was - he has already comprehensively beaten him. The manner of fight 1 was no fluke and was so comprehensive that for me it means that no matter what Dubios does now - he will never be ranked about Usyk in a ATG ranking. Even if he beats Usyk and defends the title for another 10 years - the gulf in class in fight 1 shows that Usyk is a level above Dubios (at least) and any Dubios victory is a sign of Usyk's decline and not him being green in fight 1.

Floyd Mayweather fought on 4 years after he beat a "green" (in some peoples eyes) Alvarez. In that interim period between Alvarez and McGregor, Canelo had some of his career best wins - there was still never any talk of a rematch, because of the manner of fight 1.

I still believe boxing is a sport. And Dubois has a seriously strong list of wins. He deserves a rematch far more than say Eubank did aganst Smith, for example.

Dubois is also a different beast now. I think HWs know they cannot afford to box Usyk and/or try to keep something in the tank. Far better to do a Del Boy and just go after him. Dubois has a better chance now than he did in the first fight.

Dubois and/or his team .. Usyk definitely not his usual chilled self. Definitely pissed off at the constant low blow talk and when security / trainers son start chirping in as well, You saw him switch.

Thing is all this has been fed to DD by the promoter and the team.

He was a real fan favourite after AJ but then when he was coerced into jumping in the ring and challenging Usyk (who the fans love) and the whole low blow thing in the latest fight build up he has definitely lost a lot of fans I would say.

All a bit unnecessary too. Mind games aren’t going to work on Usyk

DON CHARLES INSISTS OLEKSANDR USYK 'CONNED THE REFEREE', PROMISES REVENGE IN DANIEL DUBOIS REMATCH

One month shy of two years since their first meeting, Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) and Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) will do battle again in a different setting - home turf for the British champion - the scene of his career-best stoppage win over Anthony Joshua last September.

Double the size of Wroclaw Stadium, Wembley will play home to Dubois' attempt at redemption when facing the unbeaten Ukrainian unified king, who relinquished the IBF strap last summer to facilitate Dubois-Joshua for a recently-vacant title.

During their Tuesday presser, Dubois' head coach Don Charles gave Usyk his plaudits but maintained a defiant stance that Usyk's subtle tactics - gesticulating and complaining every time a body shot landed low - from minute one pressured referee Luis Pabon into a mistake, en route to a ninth-round stoppage victory.

"Me as a boxing coach, I have a lot of respect for you. It's remarkable but disappoints me that you can stoop so low, print the actual shot that had you trembling, the acting you did that night... you deserve an Oscar or Emmy award for the performance. You conned the referee, us, the boxing world, I've always maintained that and will, you pride yourself as a God-fearing man, thou shall not lie."

Usyk was given ample recovery time after suffering a fifth-round body punch deemed low by Puerto Rican referee Luis Pabon, though Dubois was not deducted a point and the post-fight fallout surrounded that round's contentious events.

"God has summoned you for Daniel to get revenge," Charles continued.

Usyk's manager Egis Klimas warned Charles against declaring his fighter a cheat, saying any accusations or questions should be levelled at the 32-year pro referee.

When asked by Dev Sahni whether Usyk would've made the count had it been deemed legal, Charles was unequivocal with his stance.

"I was two metres away from the incident, not because he's my fighter but there's no way in the world... his central nervous system was shut down, that's why he was trembling. At no point did he grab the area supposedly hit, you reach for your groin but he was by his stomach area.

"He conditioned the referee prior to that punch, pointing there all the time, he's only a human being and panicked. When you get to a certain level, you get favouritism, he had already been conditioned. Go examine it with a panel, in-fact, you don't need that because on July 19, we'll dissect and investigate you, you'll get found out."

It’s certainly Dubois team that are mentioning the low blow more.

Dubois and Usyk didn’t mention it at all.

Rematch is on now. Just STFU.

Let’s get on with it.

Disagree with Don Charles on this. It was low. Did anyone ask the Dubois team why DD waited until the count of 9/10 to get up?

Also, when you get hit int he nuts, the pain travels up to your stomach.

Anyone that’s been pelted in the nuts surely knows this.

Usyk will be more motivated to dish out the punishment on these claims by team Dubois. A super motivated Usyk is a dangerous one.

I think Dubois is still going to attack the body and have some success early on before Usyk forces the stoppage later on. Dubois can really crack so Usyk does need to be careful.
