Let's wait for an official announcement. I've been hearing rumours for days, hence my posts. I understand the economics, let's push the fight onto the Dubois undercard at Wembley rather than binning it completely - some of these lads might need to reassess their value? Frank's stable is maybe too big at the moment.

I want to book a short break around it but I'm not buying or sorting anything just yet, things seem sketchy.
It makes you wonder if they’re seeing what interest there is first before confirming the rest of the show.

When Ipswich got promoted to the premier league last season Wardley was on the bus with the players when they had the promotion party & judging by social media a lot of Ipswich fans didn’t seem to be impressed by him, saying he wasn’t a real Ipswich fan & that he was just jumping on a bandwagon.

It probably doesn’t help that they’ve had a terrible season too. I can’t imagine there’s the same kind of enthusiasm for a big boxing show at the football stadium like there would have been a year ago when the town was on a real high.
That’s Cus he used to support Man Utd.

Fans ain’t stupid.

So it’s suggesting Miller is out? But the dates still on?

Let’s see.

I’m sure Miller would have sorted all his promotional issues

I'll be uber-cynical of anything that comes out. I wouldn't be surprised if Salita and Miller between them are ultimately to blame if it has fallen through but it could just as easily be that tickets weren't shifting.

They just copying yesterday’s news.

Usually when tabloids post it.. it’s accurate.. Frank’s gonna hate this that it’s being reported.

They probably waiting for an opponent.

Saw mention of Hrgovic or Gassiev being a replacement.

Not good communication from Queensberry compared to what we have got used to since the Saudis rolled in. Shows the difference between a show Turki is organising and one he isn't. That's not a harsh critique, it just highlights the difference in budget for communication, replacements, PR etc. This is more how things used to be.

Hrgovic is arguably a tougher/better fight than Miller, that one could be a war. Quite soon after a tough fight with Joyce tho.

Wardley will need to be put in with brawlers at World level, Hrgovic will find the right times in the fight to outbox him and nick the rounds. Miller if he were to win would beat Wardley on work rate similar to what he did vs Ruiz. If Wardley beats either then he will have to show power beyond what he has already shown.

Few more websites are putting articles out that Miller has withdrawn, but no reasons..

No sources. Just recycling news.

But it's looking likely that it's gonna be off.. Which is a shame.

Gassiev isn't a good matchup for Wardley. He's not shown us anything at heavyweight, losing to Wallin while not beating anyone else of note. It might be too soon for Hrgovic after the Joyce fight but if he's in shape and is healed then why not.

Even Kabayel would be a good matchup if he's available. Okolie, Hunter or Pulev would also make sense. Could even chuck him in against Hughie as a worst case scenario.

Plenty of WTFs with this one. Doesn't sound like Frank on the phone but it's almost certainly just a dodgy line but as to his explanation from 6.30 secs? Surely he's ducking that question? Do we really believe he doesn't know what's going on? He's more on the ball than that.
