Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn II | PPV - 15 November 2025
Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn II - September 2025?
Eubank isan old man in boxing terms , he obviously can't make the weight anymore.
Money?? What's that if you have no health.
No rematch for any amount and I didn't even think the fight was as good as everyone is banging on about .
It was ok and nothing more , all these knobbers saying it's the best fight ever -jeez .

Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn II - September 2025?
He was possibly so determined to beat Benn he wanted to maximise his weight advantage and paid for it.
He'd raise his advantage ceiling to borderline comfort at 165, else go again at 160 with the confidence to make it next time.
Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn II - September 2025?
It’s only a competitive fight if there’s a rehydration clause.
Eubank had nothing behind his shots on Saturday.
It’s dangerous for someone in their mid-30’s to be fighting at a lower weight than what he was in his prime with a rehydration clause.
But then the obvious counter argument is what’s the point in a rematch if Eubank is 100% as Benn will get knocked out.
I would like to see Eddie Hearn, Gareth A Davies & all these other ‘experts’ theory put to the test that Benn can go away & win world titles at welterweight.
I’d bet a very sizeable wedge that Benn won’t beat any 147 champions & in all likelihood he won’t even fight at 147 again.

Hope Eubank tells Benn and Hearn to go do one , Start with if its true they would'nt allow him the time to have a piss and try to get rid of that ridiculous amount he lost 500 grand for , then its easy to believe they were just trying to grab the cash .
Nope Chris should say NO REMATCH unless of course you give me the 500 grand back , , Let Benn go fight some good welterweights , IF HE CAN MAKE THE WEIGHT . after that he should tell the BBBC to go do one has well , stuff em 100 grand for cracking an egg , cHISORA AND hAYE THROW TABLES AND GLASSES

Matchroom aren’t the ones who say yes or no as to whether he can use the toilet. That’s the board and they have to have a cut off somewhere given Benn, and the rest of the card, weighed in earlier. He weighed in twice and was over both times. That’s on him, not anyone else.coneye wrote: ↑30 Apr 2025, 09:58 Hope Eubank tells Benn and Hearn to go do one , Start with if its true they would'nt allow him the time to have a piss and try to get rid of that ridiculous amount he lost 500 grand for , then its easy to believe they were just trying to grab the cash .

I heard team Eubank say there was confusion over the timings and they got stuck in traffic etc but he was the only fighter on the show to have an issue. If he did just need a wee then why didn’t he do that after the first weigh in attempt?
Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn II - September 2025?
So it's topped a million ppv buys worldwide, almost all in the UK.
Confirms what we knew I.e. there was no global appeal as these two aren't much cop but the British love nostalgia, hype and a tear-up and aren't particularly discerning. Great promotion.
Outsold what Usyk and Fury 2 sold worldwide. Hammered Bivol v Berterbiev's worldwide numbers, etc.
Boxing events with scripted build-ups are the inevitable path forward for the Saudi led promotional future of boxing. When AJ v Fury is announced, expect the storyline to be something else. Like Corrie on wild boar meat!

I said on fight night Pat McCormack would punch holes in him.

For sure but McCormack would never get the gig, I’m struggling to see who Benn actually fights next if the Eubank rematch doesn’t happen. Benn will get beat against any of the top boys from light welter to light middle and I can’t see anyone domestically who will get him a big enough pay day.
The only belt Benn will get is a Gucci one

It’s mental. They’re all at on DAZN & Talksport & people from Matchroom.CaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑30 Apr 2025, 12:13Sergio Mora literally said when discussing Conor fighting at 147 ......... Josh Taylor would be a nice PPV fight for him that would pack out an arena. Let’s see how you do at fringe world level Mr Benn. My guess is they wouldn’t dare go near him.

How can he be in the top 3 in the world when he isn't in the top 3 domestically
Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn II - September 2025?
Totally. He could have had a pee in a water bottle in the car. Thing is, he was late and he paid for it massively.maverick23 wrote: ↑30 Apr 2025, 10:49Matchroom aren’t the ones who say yes or no as to whether he can use the toilet. And I hope this all goes away and in my ideal view, Eubank retires and trolls Conner for the next 10-15 years and Connor goes back to whatever he was trying to accomplish prior to this debacle.
Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn II - September 2025?
I make you right. I don't want to see a rematch, either. Eubank would be crazy to try and make 160lb again. So.it have to be at 165/168lbs imo.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑28 Apr 2025, 13:16 Apparently the contracts are already done.
We have no idea what’s in the contract. Weights, rehydration etc.
I’m assuming CEJ made sure the rematch was more on his favour had he won the first bout.
Promoters and Turki talking about it immediately after the fight too..
I like the fights being made, but seeing rematches isn’t always the way. Understandably it was close( but there was no question on the winner IMO.
Personally I don’t wanna see it again.
But money talks. Where else are they gonna make £9m ?
Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn II - September 2025?
I agree. Benn has reached his level. From now on he needs to be matched very carefully.a force wrote: ↑29 Apr 2025, 18:41 It’s only a competitive fight if there’s a rehydration clause.

Domesticly his lack of ring IQ and skills can be made up with his rough and ready style along with the intensity he brings . BUT it's not gonna do him any good at world level . Anyway what weight . I can't see him making 147 again . I would like to see him fight Kell Brooks
Question for me remains when will they release the tests results from the Eubank fight . Did he have scrambled for breakfast . Egg lettuce Mayo sandwiches for lunch . Steak and eggs for dinner

He's 39 and hasnt fought in over 3 years. Surely Benn would walk through him at this point. Brook would have played with him 5 years ago but them days are long gone.
