Carl Dilks jailed
A former professional boxer has been jailed for eights years for his part in a cocaine smuggling gang who plotted to import £140million of cocaine in the UK from Sierra Leone.
Ex-British Masters light heavyweight champion Carl 'Dynamite' Dilks used EncroChat, an encrypted communications platform, to traffic wholesale quantities of cocaine before the network was infiltrated by French police during 2020.

I can't really remember it that clearly but I got a customer in my taxi who told me Dilks had beaten him up quite badly for nothing. I mentioned it on here only for Dilks to pop up and start going on at me defending his reputation. He sent me an inbox as well.skanksta wrote: ↑02 May 2025, 18:57Lol, great gossip !mickey1975 wrote: ↑02 May 2025, 18:41 Does anyone remember when he was after me for talking about him on here?

Re: Carl Dilks jailed
why anyone would, or did entertain encrochat is baffling to me
lucky to get sentenced as well if youre remanded for an encro case, theres fellas been on remand for 2 or 3 years virutally waiting for trial
it was obvious it was never going to remain lowkey, and then in the blink of an eye doors went in all over the country

Lots of people would prefer to get their head stuck into their sentence though than sit on remand for ages and ages, but thats out of your hands when you've been locked up isnt it
Dishing out big ones for the encro aren't they, people got way too comfortable imo, and silly,

Imo, doing 6 months or more on bail is like being inside, waiting, worrying your on curfew too.Oiky wrote: ↑03 May 2025, 10:21Yeah thats one plus to remand unless you've been put on judges remandCoco wrote: ↑03 May 2025, 09:53At least the remand doubles up, all the folk on encro are looking at a lumpOiky wrote: ↑03 May 2025, 09:00 why anyone would, or did entertain encrochat is baffling to me

If they have got you, plead guilty, get your discount and get it done

If its game over its all about damage limitation, which like you say plead guilty get full discount and crack on
So many times people go to trial and end up with 3 or 4 more year than what they would have had
Re: Carl Dilks jailed
Sometimes I blame the brief too, convincing you that you might get off with a cock and bull story, they get paid for a jury trial, and the judge feels upset that you have wasted everyones time and money, and he gives you a 5 not a 3
