Shouldn't have done that. You went down because of that bite.

kds he took vs nery and cardenas almost identical. overswing, turns himself out of position, then a looping shot smacks him. recovered well both times at least, mostly solid performance outside of that, but you have to think it would give MJ team some hope

the issue for mj i see.........is that he doesnt put it on guys. he sits back and picks shots, sometimes doesnt work enough. i think he's gonna have to push more to make inoue uncomfortable and to win enough rounds. inoue has shown just dropping him aint enough

but it should give him hope to see a lesser puncher than himself drop inoue. a few other times cardenas pushed inou back too, although i gave inoue all the rounds except 2. nery is a big banger, cardenas not as much.

I have only seen the highlights, but feels a tiny bit early for the stop. Not that it wasn’t a beating at times, but cardinas was still dangerouse o thought.

I was fine with the stoppage— even his own corner told him they were giving him one more round—but I agree, they could've let the fight go on for at least a couple more punches.

too many punches coming in without a response............if that had been the first time cardenas had been in trouble id say give him more chance, but he was taking a progressively worse beating. down the round before and spending much of the time slumped in the corner or the ropes, well down on the cards, immediately in trouble again and showing no improvement from the previous round, etc
