Ben Foord's actual cause of suicide

I read from South African Heavyweight Ben Foord's biography that he was wounded from the battle in WW2 that he committed suicide by self-inflicted gunshot wound, which wasn't true. This was how Foord's suicide was caused.

This one was from wikipedia.

"After retiring from boxing, Foord joined the army. While at home on leave, he was playing a practical joke by sneaking up on his wife Phyllis with a pistol and pretending to be a desperado. Foord then attempted gunspinning in the American frontier style and accidentally shot himself in the face, killing himself."

Yep, Foord died from attempting to prank on his wife that went tragically wrong like he similarly played a Russian Roulette.

Could you please change Ben Foord's cause of death to accidental suicide?

From Reddit too stated that Foord's prank on his wife and he wanted to act like a cowboy that went tragically wrong that he accidentally shot himself. Also, one of the users commented that Foord should have taken out those bullets to avoid shooting himself.

Fray, you are not one of the administrators, so you thought they will not change it in your opinion, but they might change it because they don't want most old school boxing fans to be misled with the false information on the cause of Ben Foord's suicide. It's your opinion, but you don't have that position to say and keep your opinion to yourself. I think you don't understand at all and I'm asking them to try, so they could make this website more credible with the boxers' information and their biographies.

I don't have access to the South African newspapers, but I do have access to the English newspapers. On November 20, 1942, an article by Reuters was picked up stating that an inquest into Foord's death determined that it was "probably accidental". However, 4 days later, the word "suicide" was used in a newspaper.

Daily Herald and Evening Dispatch were the(English) newspapers I looked at.
