Joe Tyers wins his debut 39-37. I quite liked the journeyman from Mexico, Portillo, didn't just cover up and earn his money.

Huey Malone debut about to start. Decent amateur, although not a puncher. Hopefully he'll set his feet a bit more as a pro.

Three rounds in and all Malone.

Clever making this a six rounder. Malone has very little power but he is super-fit, busy and well schooled. He could wear this guy out and force a stoppage which will look good on his record even though he can't bang.

Decent enough debut. Managed by Matt Macklin, trained by Joe Gallagher so he's giving himself a decent chance of maximising his potential.

Malone wins 60 - 54.

He will need to get physically stronger though. He's not explosive enough to make opponents wary and that's not something you can change much, so he'll need to be strong and very fit.

I’ve been looking for a positive angle re Noakes’ opponent tonight.

I’m not finding it.

Riyadh Season must've cut their sponsorship money or something, seems like DAZN are having to manage with only one mic for commentary. Can hear the lead guy but the other fellow is inaudible.

And video filming so dark when filming from the sides compared to the wide angle

I don't know the first thing about making TV but you'd think there would be somebody in a van saying "we can't hear one of the commentators and the image is too dark".

Nico Leivars is another good boxer with not much pop. Not sure where you go with lads like this in this day and age.

Maybe this is just for the prelims and I’ve never noticed before, but the camera feed switching only between the two neutral corner cams, is a tad annoying.

I don’t know much about tv cameras, but it’s like the distance camera needs calibrating or something.

Hard camera is fine the neutral corners are really dark. I'm guessing the people in neutral corners are freelancers for the promoter and not working for dazn

Cooper fight was a bit dull, he knows that and looks disappointed. 40-36 borefest. Only young and the matchmaking didn't help.

Akbar looks good. Big strong legs. Needs to develop his uppercut and he'll bang the likes of this guy out cold.

40-36 job again.

Good debut win for Senior, thought he'd stop him when he put him down in the second but the opponent was very canny.
