Who has won titles in boxing and kickboxing?

I think Carl Thompson was a Muay Thai world champion before boxing, then of course he held the WBO and IBO Cruiserweight titles.

His wiki says he had two fights for MT world titles but lost both.

I did see an interview with him where he said he won a world title but there isn't much recognition compared to boxing because there are so many different organisations. Maybe he did, maybe he didn't.

What nobody ever says though is that it was a no contact tournament. So when he did it Klitschko wasn't expecting it to happen. It was a point tournament.

JWP was always a Muay Thai fighter first. He originally moved to Thailand to train when he was 20 after winning some national and regional titles.

Przemysław Saleta started from kickboxing. He won WAKO belt/medal there (I did not really follow kickboxing), and after switching to boxing he won EBU belt as well. Fun fact, he got wins both over Klitschko in kickboxing and over Golota in boxing. Though Vitali was a teenager at that time, and for Golota it was his last fight.

Chantelle Cameron was a USKA champ in FC kickboxing. She was brilliant tbf. Fought on the bounce, actually landed head kicks. Proper artist, far better suited to kickboxing but there’s no money in it.

Can anybody say how good vitali klitschko was as a kickboxer? did he win an important title?

When I've seen him Kickboxing he had headgear on. So no he didn't win an important title.

I would think he was decent at it. Surely a better boxer though.

Hasn't happened yet, but Tenshin Nasukawa will win a Championship in Boxing in the near future to go along with his Championships in Kickboxing. I'd bet heavily on it.
