Yes, actually agreed with the British stoppage there. That lad had no chance.

Taylor Bevan is my sort of boxer. Absolutely love his style. Good 2nd rohnd stoppage win.

Queensberry got their matchmaking wrong last week, there were no stoppages. Matchroom have got it right do far this week.

Whatever you may think of him, David Diamanté is the best prepared MC in the business, very seldom needs his cue cards.

John McDonald was a bit like that. I remember being ringside at York Hall once and he was double checking with folks for name pronunciations of visiting fighters. Wanted to get everything bang on.

Yes, John was the business.

Got to be honest, I've a soft spot for Quarless in this one because of his Uncle Noel but I don't think he'll have enough to beat The Gentleman.

On a similar subject to earlier, none of these commentators pronounce Quarless correctly.

Have enjoyed the prelims, I didn’t know Hatton was still a trainer, some god advice in the corner from him for Hedges.

Earlier on when they said Bevan was Welsh and with that name I was expects thick Valleys accent then he sounds like a proper Londoner, made me chuckle.

What do people think will happen in the main event? I really hope Dave performs well, he’s a pound off 19 stone so who knows. I just hope it is a good fight.

Not that it matters but I think Fisher’s father has turned lots of people off from Fisher, really has been unlikeable and made GAD look quite likeable which is no mean feat.

I'm not going to vote on how I'll watch the fight because it's fornicating Eurovision tonight. My Mrs likes this shite so I've said she can watch it.

I don't like her saying you have control of the TV etc etc, so I've resigned to letting this one pass and sit through 4 hours of effing shite!

Good evening Mr Brennan.

They were pronouncing it as “Kwarless”, but the Quar part should sound like the great Ike Quartey.

So Kworless.

Personally mate I’m thinking Fisher will stay one step ahead this time and work his way to a clear (enough) decision.

Although Fisher Sr has come across as a bit of an overly sensitive twerp, GAD / Spencer probably should have owned up to being a bit OTT with the “disgrace”comment re the decision last time. Surely you can’t call a 1 point win a disgrace, however easy you think the rounds were to score.

I said in the main thread I think Fisher wins quite handily, 7-3 or so.

He was controlling the first fight, got caught, had a few rough rounds & weathered it. That'll do him the world of good experience-wise.

Hi Kilburn, I think your point about GAD especially is fair, he is often given to hyperbole. It was not a disgrace and was a close fight. I think Dave won by 2 points but it was not a disgrace by any stretch. Although I was more GAD than GAD at the time as I am a biased wally where Dave Allen is concerned, especially after a beer on a Saturday when I decide I am hard and know my boxing. I hope you are wrong re Fisher winning but have an uneasy feeling that you may well be right.

I will message you immediately after the fight if Dave loses, acting hard and being very Gaddy :TU:
