Quite some time ago whilst checking out boxer's records Birth's & Death's one could always check on their passing on date.
These days one cannot see these details anymore, myself when I'm checking out someone's Birth & Death dates I could rely on BoxRec information but these day's I can't. Is there any particular reason why you have now omitted giving out this information? Thank you.

Data protection laws are a nightmare
and really it's just too risky to display dates of birth due to identity theft.

GDPR laws do not apply to deceased persons. So it's perfectly safe to list the data once a person is dead. It surely must be feasible to arrange the settings of the website, so that:
A. dates of births are shown on the site as soon as a date of death is entered.
B. in case a date of death is not listed, to show a date of birth once it is more than 120 years in the past.
