There was a little 2 year window there where Jeff Lacy might've won this fight. Green would've won it any other time in their lives.

Lacy was at his peak vs robin reid and very impressive. Thats better than any version of allen green

But calzaghe beat the talent out of him. Post calzaghe lacy loses to green like he did to jermain taylor

I've always kinda wondered what it was there. I don't know if Calzaghe so much beat the talent out of him as much as he beat the confidence out of him.

I've seen worse beatings than that as far as physical punishment, but I've seldom seen a fight where a guy that was favored to win lost in such a humiliating and decisive fashion.

I remember he looked good gainst tsypko until he tore his rotator cuff - he finished the fight and probably should have quit instead. He was more tham finished after that - just a shell
