Dazn Friday
Had a few at the Rugby then watched the Footy on record. Few people round and I'm meant to be the ‘Boxing Expert’. Whacked DAZN on and there's 4 people tagging each other in. Whats going on? Have I been spiked and I m tripping? The sports gone

Ty Mitchell and the Darren Till fight were good.

Z level is right. I don't know any of these names so calling them any sort of Celebrity is stretching the word Celebrity to it's limit.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑16 May 2025, 23:47 It was a Misfits Card unfortunately.

Online celebs. That’s all. I should have added wannabe in front of that.gilgamesh wrote: ↑17 May 2025, 02:08Z level is right. I enjoyed Till v Stewart.
Stewart was predictably underestimated but it was a solid win for Till in the end.
That heavyweight fight was bloody awful though.

Went famous at the time of the prime drink was brought out. just recorded tiktoks that went viral.. He was charging extortionate prices.. After the prime hype died down, he continued the videos and started using other products.
Re: Dazn Friday
There not boxers just online YouTubers etc. anyone who climbs in the ring has to have balls. And Wakey wines isn't a boxer so at least traded with someone. Even at 56 I'd give it a go with someone same ability as myself and as fat as fornicate!Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑17 May 2025, 03:43Yh it was 5 one minute rounds![]()
He at least tried. Modeen is a joke.
Re: Dazn Friday
I went to a party in Wakefield last month. I had to go into Wakey wines, owner wasn't in but still, it was an expensive.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑17 May 2025, 07:19Went famous at the time of the prime drink was brought out. just recorded tiktoks that went viral.. When Prime first came out in the UK you couldn't get it for love nor money. My grandson who was 11 at the time, and all his peers wanted Prime. His dad took him in a bought a bottle for £20. People all over the damn UK were flocking to his off licence to buy it.
He went viral on social media. That's all died down now, but he had his 15 minutes of fame.

Re: Dazn Friday
yh, i told my mrs that Banjo was fighting 6 rounds, and she said is that it?
Then i explained to her, they're not professionals, they probably go gym to stay in shape, but they cant do hard sparring and it's not their day job. They're just going in there, with a around a month or so notice (sometimes less), and then going in.
Then i told her to look at banjo, whilst he was already gassed after 2 rounds.
She understood the point

This type of meaningless boxing can inspire the kind of man like myself. I had a dream when I was 18 to become a boxer, went to see Johnny Rushton but didn't have the bollox to see it through.
Even now at 56 I'd give it a go. I'd love the opportunity to climb though the ropes and go toe to toe with someone my similar age and ability to go 3, 1 minute rounds in a duster. What man wouldn't?

Re: Dazn Friday
watched this earlier today whilst training at the gym. Ty Mitchell could do something as a proper pro, it is listed as a proper fight on boxrec. He can definitely box. I appreciate his out of ring crimes etc.
Re: Dazn Friday
He had his pro licence approved and I think board gave permission possibly that’s why.SeanBrennan wrote: ↑17 May 2025, 14:32 watched this earlier today whilst training at the gym.
