He’s a bit limited in terms of uk promoters after calling pretty much all of them scumbags.

Interesting the way the statement is worded. I’d be surprised if he does a fight with Frank though given what’s been said over the last few years.

Eubank is one of only a few boxers who probably doesn’t need a promoter. Shalom barely got involved at the pressers and I’m not sure Eubank needs any help pushing a fight. If anything he’d probably prefer to be on his own so he can go against the opposing fighter and their promoter.

Eubank does need a proper boxing manager though. If the rehydration or 160 limit is dangerous for him then it shouldn’t have been accepted. Then you have him being late for the weigh in and the seemingly mismanaged attempt to make weight after that. Then also have the issue with Benn’s gloves with no one being there when they were selected.

Isn't it madness signing anything more than one fight at a time for a 35 year old middleweight?

What a lot of people seem to have missed was Eubank Jr /Boxxer was announced as "a partnership"

Not "a signing"

I've never seen a fighter signing announced as a "partnership" ever. The wording was very strange and added to my suspicions, as I couldn't see why someone of Eubank Jr name value would sign with a subpar promoter like Boxxer.

I'd love to read that contract. I'm sure it would not read like any regular promotional contract. I don't see Eubank Jr handing over large % of his money to these guys.

And if you watched the buildup to the benn fight and the in-ring moments after the end, he seemed dismissive of Shalom. He basically shrugged him off in the ring after the fight, you can see it on camera.

So I don't know what exactly the arrangement is, but there's something weird about it and it wouldn't surprise me at all to see Eubank and Cricket Man move on to their next "partner" once it becomes more viable.
