Yeah, I didn't really include them though because they are either slap bang average (Chisora/Whyte) or clearly completely shot (Joshua) or were never good anyway (Joyce).
But yeah, I reckon a bunch of those will retire soon. Though Chisora sticks around like a genital wart stinking up the place.

I have never met a 76 year old baby in my life.golden_labrador wrote: ↑19 May 2025, 15:48Ortiz is but a baby! got years left in him yetKiwiRider wrote: ↑19 May 2025, 14:24It's not just Fury and Uysk teetering on retirement though.tigermoth87 wrote: ↑19 May 2025, 11:13
He is the best of the bunch and is who I would like Usyk to finish with, or if Fury has another fight--to face next. Forget a rematch with Dubois--who cares? Kabayel is the next best in the division and who I am actually interested in seeing how good he actually is. Good win over Zhang, but Zhang is basically just hands of concrete rather than being a good boxer.
But once Fury and Usyk are gone. That is a very weak division.
Whyte, Ruiz, Chisora, Joshua, Zhang, Joyce, Ortiz, are just a few more we might see gone by year's end.

Yh only AJ ducked Fury.
Re: Fury retires........yawn
Yeah, Fury would've made millions of he didn't duck AJ. Could have finally got over his inferiority complex

He looked pretty happy on his video today, he certainly wasn't begging for fights online...joshj909 wrote: ↑24 May 2025, 10:47Yeah, Fury would've made millions of he didn't duck AJ. Could have finally got over his inferiority complex

this AJ-Fury fight, no matter how late it is, would still do some numbers. surely it'll happen for the £££ alone
Re: Fury retires........yawn
Tyson is money driven but he has a huge ego too. I'm not sure he would want to spend the next 45 years knowing he got sparked by AJ. That's not a prediction but it is a consideration he will have, I think.

Same as Khan-Brook situation.
I mean by time they fought it didnt matter and they weren’t even in their primes. Brook has one over Khan, but it’s never talked about. Plus he didn’t spark him out either. Brook doesn’t even mention it himself. It was just for the money that fight.

He's maybe enjoying watching them beg. It's clear they don't want anyone else in case he gets chinned again.
Re: Fury retires........yawn
Fury showed he has no honour when he shamelessly ducked David Price all those years ago and it's come full circle with him ducking Joshua.
I used to defend him years ago when a lot of people I knew viewed Fury as a novelty act. Now he's just a laughing stock. Sad really.

Have to laugh at it all. We're nearly in June with Hearn and Joshua hanging around with no idea what to do without Fury being invovled.
Fury is doing what Fury does, which the vast majority of people are bored to tears with.
The rumours are Turki is less than enamoured with how it has ended up here, to the point he might have already said foxtrot oscar to both sides.

I don't think that's the case. AJ's next fight could be his last, so he's pondering his next move.Twinkle Toes wrote: ↑26 May 2025, 06:24 Have to laugh at it all. We're nearly in June with Hearn and Joshua hanging around with no idea what to do without Fury being invovled.

Tyson looked like he had a great weekend in Monaco.
