Always has to be an angle with Jake Paul fights.

Imagine how much more respect he could get for actually getting in there with a serious threat. He seems like a tough enough kid, but he refuses to roll the dice even a little bit,

I think that’s fairly unfair, he has definatly rolled the dice a few times…

Both woodly fights, the Silva fight, Tommy fury, even Nate Diaz… they were all kinda dice rolls.

If you look at his odds in his fights over his career they are closer fights than many take.

Even his current fight is a slight dice rolls in that you never quite know if jr could of gotten clean and fit..:

Sure there is always the possibility of Jake Paul getting outsmarted by one of these old veterans, and he did get outworked by a rare younger opponent. But as far as getting hurt or humbled, they’re just not prepared to risk it.

In keeping with almost all previous match ups, they’ve made sure to choose another old guy in Chavez Jr who won’t be able to hurt Jake.

Jake Paul appears to be only interested in guaranteed victory fights. Look at his last opponent - a 58.5 year old who tripped on the way to the ring and almost died a few months earlier with his stomach issues, and has difficulty walking.

The majority of his other opponents are all older, smaller, and not actual boxers. He also turned down Daniel Dubois' offer of a shot at the title and has shown no interest in squaring off against Carl Froch.

They felt Fury couldn't punch, but it misfired because he knew enough to fiddle his way around the ring. Paul hasn't boxed him again which in itself is interesting.

Chavez Jr has been in rehab, is naturally smaller and lost to the MMA guy, who Paul has already beaten. Put your money on a Paul win. It's free money although the odds ( understandably) won't be very good.

I find the whole thing completely distasteful.

Out of interest, is there any drug testing for Jake Paul's fights?

Absolutely.

If the opponents don't show sufficient levels of sedatives in their system they won't let them in the ring.

How hilarious would it be if Jake Paul fought Badou Jack, and it was a draw? At the very least, it'd probably be a close decision that could go either way. That's kinda Badou Jack's thing.
